A dedicated homemaker, she was a longtime resident of Mount Tabor Road and a faithful member of the Church of God Family Worship Center since 1970, where she was well loved by her church family and will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Ervin Roberts, on Aug. 13, 1988; and her only child, her beloved daughter, Shirley Anne Fridley, who died on Nov. 6, 1998. Mary Jane was the fond mother-in-law of Richard Fridley of Pensacola, Fla; the dear grandmother of Richard E. and his wife, Pamela Fridley, of Annandale, Va., and David Fridley of Pensacola; and the great-grandmother of Elizabeth, Carolyn and Paul Fridley. Entombment will follow in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Beckley. on October 24, 2007.4

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie S. Raine. Additional survivors: sons, Jimmy Shrewsbury of Louisville, Ky., and Mark Shrewsbury of Princeton; daughters, Ms. Stormy Raine of Athens and Mrs. Sandra Tglbides of Lowell, Mass; brothers, Ben Craghead of Athens, Bill Craghead of St. Cloud. Fla., and Bob Craghead of Spanishburg; and seven grandchildren. The body will be cremated following the services and burial will be in the Athens Cemetery at a later date. on April 5, 1994.4

"Bob" Craghead, 64, of the Beckley Road, Spanishburg, died Saturday evening, Oct. 5, 2002, at the Princeton Community Hospital. Born March 11, 1938 at Amigo, he was the son of the late Hoy G. and Dana Mae Gore Craghead. Bob had graduated from Harvey High School in Painesville, Ohio, and had worked for the Avery International Corporation for several years in Painesville. He moved to the Spanishburg area in 1981 and opened a store in the Lake Bottom community until 1984. He then worked for the Board of Education in Mercer County as the head custodian for Spanishburg School until his retirement in 2000. For a short period of time, he along with his devoted wife were caretakers at the Zion Lutheran Church in Fairport Harbor, Ohio. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Fairport Harbor. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed sports of all kinds, but especially loved the Cleveland Indians and Browns. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Ben; along with a sister, Alice Raines. Left to cherish his memory are his loving and caring wife of 46 years, Nancy Carolyn Smith Craghead; children, Robbin Walker and husband, Ronnie of Gainesville, Fla., Daniel Craghead of Fairport Harbor, Melissa Meadows of Spanishburg, and Sheila Dickerson and husband, Steven of Durham, N.C; and grandchildren, Jennifer, Rachel, Hannah, Melanie, Brandon, Ryan, and Ainsley. Burial will follow in the Athens Cemetery in Athens. on October 8, 2002.1
