     Thomas Brent Poff Thomas “Brent” Poff, 47, of Bluefield, WV, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2020 at his home after a battle with cancer. Born on October 14, 1972 in Bluefield, he was a son of Zelda and Timothy Meadows of Bluefield, WV, and Thomas (Eddie) Poff, III and companion Jeannie Pennington of Cool Ridge, WV. He was a graduate of Walter Paige High School in Greensboro, NC and was a veteran of the US Navy. He enjoyed fishing, flying model airplanes and was an employee of Lamb Machinery, Inc. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Vernon and Bessie Hamby; paternal grandparents, Thomas and Evelyn Poff, Jr. Survivors in addition his parents, include Fiance, Trish Thomas of Bluefield; his brother, Brian Poff and fiancé Courtney Raughley and niece Lexi Poff of NC of NC; his step brother, Ronald Keith “Jake” Meadows; nephews, Jacob, Dustin and Levi; step-sister, Kathy (Kenny) Rameriz and niece Mia Rameriz and nephew, Joaquin Rameriz of CO; step daughter, Selina Shrader of Spanishburg, WV and step granddaughter, Danielle Shrader of Spanishburg, WV; and 2 dogs, Ace and Ruby; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.1 He was born on October 14, 1972 at Bluefield, Mercer Co., West Virginia.1 He died on September 21, 2020 at Bluefield, Mercer Co., West Virginia, at age 47.1

     Bob Gene Sharp Bob Gene Sharp, age 73, of Axton, VA passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Sovah Health Martinsville. Bob was born on July 23, 1950, in Minden, WV to Janice and Fawler Sharp. Bob was a retired auto mechanic. He was an avid fisherman, loved golf, and a good game of pool. He loved his wife and family. He is preceded in death by his son Robert DeWayne Sharp, father Fawler McCoy Sharp, and mother Janice Dobbins Sharp. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Kathy, sister Patti Cox, niece Christie Burchard and husband Gary, great nephews Tyler and Christopher Martin all of Dayton, TN, mother-in-law Myra Gibson, and brother-in-law Tony Adkins both of Oak Hill, WV. A graveside service will be held at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens on Pea Ridge Road in Oak Hill, WV.2 He was buried at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill, Fayette Co., West Virginia.2 He was born on July 23, 1950 at Minden, Fayette Co., West Virginia.1,2 He married Shirley Ann "Sherry" Sigmon, daughter of Ordie Jake "Bud" Sigmon Sr. and Eileen Marie Collinsworth, on April 25, 1975 at Tazewell Co., Virginia.1 Bob Gene Sharp died on April 4, 2024 at Martinsville, Virginia, at age 73.2
