She was the beloved wife of George A. Gathercole with whom she shared 48 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late LeMont and Gladys Elder Keefer. Kathryn was an area resident all her life and a 1965 graduate of the Coatesville High School. She was a member of the Sandy Hill Community Church. She loved spending time with family and friends. She brought joy to everyone she met. She is survived, in addition to her husband, by two children; Thomas E. Gathercole and wife Dawn of Westtown, PA and Tia M. Demin and husband Jason of Lebanon, PA, 12 grandchildren and one brother LeMont Keefer of FL. She was preceded in death by two daughters; April Lynn and Tolene Gathercole and two sisters; Marcia Kitchen and Roxanne Anthony.² She was born on April 12, 1947 at Coatsville, Chester Co., Pennsylvania.² As of circa 1968,her married name was Gathercole.² She married George A. Gathercole, son of Thomas Albert Gathercole Sr. and Hazel Katherine Cupp, circa 1968.^1,2 Kathryn A. Keefer died on December 24, 2016 at Sadsbury, Chester Co., Pennsylvania, at age 69.²
