She was born in Franklin County, a daughter of the late Charles A. and Nora Bell Wright Minucie and had also resided in the Salem area prior to locating to Glade Hill eleven years ago. She enjoyed baking, arts and crafts, playing volleyball and loved to play Bookworm. Mostly she loved and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of Glade Hill Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving husband of over 53 years, Roscoe Rock Martin; two sons, Kenneth David Martin and his wife Joyce; Timothy Martin and his wife Susan; a daughter, Michele Martin; one brother, Charles A. Minucie and his wife Debbie; five sisters, Janet Reynolds, Clara Saunders, Frances Hatcher and her husband Donnie; Violet Agee and her husband Ronnie; Brenda Wainwright and her husband Taylor; ten grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Private burial will take place at a later date at Glade Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.¹ She was buried at Glade Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, 6627 Colonial Turnpike, Glade Hill, Franklin Co., Virginia.¹ Her Social Security Number was 225-44-0617.³ She was born on April 1, 1936 at Franklin Co., Virginia.^1,2,3 As of circa 1957,her married name was Martin.¹ She married Roscoe David Martin, son of Luke Theodore Martin Sr. and Cecil C. He was survived by his wife, Suzie Cobler, of Lake Wales, Fla; daughters, Brandy Layman, of Roanoke, Va., Leighan Dunn, of Christiansburg, Va., Tara Cobler, of Penhook, Va., Destarde Cobler of Penhook, Va., Jane Marie Cobler, of Lofiat, La; sons, Josh and Lujack Cobler, of Penhook, Va., and Louis and Buster Hartless; his mother, Katie Marie Weddle, of Ellison, Va; brothers, Bern Cobler, of Orlando, Fla., Sam Dunn, of Arizona, Gary Dunn, of Elliston, Va; and sister, Bonnie Terry, of Elliston,Va; one grandchild. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery. on November 16, 2005.²
