     Eva Joyce Hall Eva Joyce Hall Ferguson, 82, of Princeton, WV, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021 at her home after an extended illness. She was born April 12, 1938 in Jenkinjones, WV to the late Dora Ethel Austin Hall Henley Lowe and Clarence Emett Hall. Joyce attended and was a member of Maple View Church of Christ. She was the former Owner/Operator of Joyce's Café in Bluefield, WV. She was an avid bowler at Mountaineer Bowling Lanes for many years and was a former board member at Princeton Community Hospital as well as a volunteer. She loved traveling, reading, and finding new places to eat. Joyce was our rock and a loving mother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Worley Henley; sister, Girlie Hicks; and one grandson, Jackie R. Hill, Jr. Joyce leaves behind her loving family that includes her children, Al Smith (Lisa) of Roanoke, VA, Dora Taylor (Willie) of Lexington, NC, Jenny Hines (Edward) of Pine Tops, NC, Jerry Smith (Glenda) of Hazzard, KY, and Joyce Stephenson (Timmy) of Princeton, WV; grandson, Isaac Starling whom she raised; sister, Pat Honaker of Montcalm, WV; and her companion, Hollis Sikes. Her greatest legacy will continue with 18 grandkids and 21 great-grandkids and one due in July. She leaves many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly along with many special friends from all walks of life. Ferguson was pinned underneath the car and was reportedly killed instantly. There were no other passengers in the car, which was reported a total loss. He was owner and operator of Joyce’s Cafe in Bluefield. on May 17, 1975.4
