She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Juanita Lois Bradley. Also surviving are her husband, Bobby Gilbert, Jr; her children, Katelyn Johnson, Sadie Gilbert, and Joshua O'Conner; and her grandson, Jackson O'Conner. Dawn spent her childhood enjoying roller-skating with her friends in tournaments across the states. She graduated from Patrick Henry High School. She loved her dogs, Tobie and Tipper, more than anything and took them everywhere. Dawn had a contagious laugh that would light up any room and a family that meant the world to her. She really knew how to enjoy life and stayed thankful for all that she had.
