     Virginia Colleen Pugh Virginia Colleen Norville, age 86, went to her heavenly home with her Lord on Tuesday, August 22, 2023. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Warren Norville; her parents John Lewis Pugh and Ruby Virginia Pugh, her sister and brother in law, Elva Jane and Rudolph Delong, and her brother and sister in law, Wayne and Vivian Pugh. Virginia is survived by her son and daughter in law, John and Angela Norville of Roanoke, VA; three grandchildren, Jason, Jessica, and Jamie (Lauren); five great-grandchildren, Caleb, Jaelyn, Sidney, Peyton, Carson; Sister and brother in law, Linda and Billy LaPrade; Brother and sister in law, Roy and Donna Pugh; Sister in law and best friend, Elizabeth “Liz” Chilton; Brother in law and sister in law, Ronnie and Sherry Norville; numerous nieces and nephews whom she adored, and her beloved pup Tessa. Virginia was a woman of true faith, she always put God first in everything she did. She was a dedicated member at Belmont Baptist Church for many years where she served as a choir member, secretary, and any other role that needed to be filled. She also volunteered a lot of her time at the church’s food bank. She loved being with her family and never missed a phone call or sending a card for birthday’s or special occasions. She only had kind words for others and was always there when friends or family needed her. Loved working in her yard and rocking on her porch reading her Bible. Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Park in Rocky Mount, VA.2 She was buried at Franklin Memorial Park, Virgil Goode Highway, Rocky Mount, Franklin Co., Virginia.2 She was born on April 2, 1937 at Franklin Co., Virginia.3 As of May 2, 1955,her married name was Sink.1 She married Charlie Lewis "Lew" Sink Jr., son of Charlie Lewis Sink Sr. and Hettie Ann Hall, on May 2, 1955 at Chesterfield, Chesterfield Co., South Carolina.1 Virginia Colleen Pugh and Charlie Lewis "Lew" Sink Jr. were divorced in October, 1961 at Pinellas Co., Florida.4 Virginia Colleen Pugh died on August 22, 2023 at Virginia at age 86.2

     Duen Cecil Young Duen C. "DC" Young, Oct 24, 1938 - Jul 25, 2023. Duen C. “DC” Young, age 84 of Fort Mill, SC and formerly of Franklin County died Tuesday, July 25, 2023. He was formerly employed at Continental Homes leaving behind his special family of coworkers. DC also did carpentry work and was “jack of all trades” who loved fishing. Preceding him in death was his wife, Shelby and his dog, Bear-Bear. Surviving are his daughters, Loretta Crum (Harden) and Lolisa Young; grandchildren, Christal, Jason and Takeko; great-grandchildren, Samantha, Morgan, Nyasia, Chloe and Trey; great-great-grandchildren, Nevaeh; also Aspen and Greyson on the way; brother, Dr. Jimmy Adams (Mary); favorite nephew, Hunter; and a multitude of other family members who he never heard from. He is also survived by special neighbors, Toni, Matt, Joe and Steve; special friend, Pat; and his “western watching” loving ex-wife, Lois. A cryptside service will be held in the mausoleum at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.2 He was buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5737 Airport Road NW, Roanoke, Virginia.2 He married Lois Vernail LaPrade, daughter of Harry Thurman LaPrade and Rachel Goldie Hall.1 Duen Cecil Young was born on October 24, 1938 at Franklin Co., Virginia.3,2 He died on July 25, 2023 at Fort Mill, York Co., South Carolina, at age 84.2
