     Paul Samuel Tressel III Paul Samuel Tressel III, Jan 31, 1979 - June 29, 2024. Paul S. Tressel III, 45, of Roanoke, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, June 29, 2024. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul S. Tressel Jr. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Shannen Tressel; children, Megan and Austin; mother, Arnette Crocker Tressel (Conway); twin sister, Gretchen Moser (Nate); niece, Addie; nephew, Cole; many loving aunts and numerous other family members. Paul, a passionate local musician for over 25 years, will be deeply missed by the Roanoke music community, including his former band mates who were more like family. Over the years Paul was a dedicated member of many bands, including Blind Vision, The Hats, The Materia Project, The Isaac Hadden Project and The Dead Reckoning. Paul's sense of humor could make anyone laugh with his quick witt and endless puns. He loved his family and friends and was a constant positive role model to Megan and Austin. He was a devoted husband and father. He enjoyed life and made the most of it. His favorite place to be was on stage. He played Regionally at many venues and festivals. Paul’s strong musical presence and talent will be extremely missed by all who were fortunate enough to feel and witness his music. He was born on January 31, 1979 at Roanoke, Virginia.3 He married Shannen Leigh Gibson, daughter of Rodney Guy Gibson and Susan Colleen Johnson, on May 6, 2012 at Roanoke, Virginia.1,2 Paul Samuel Tressel III died on June 29, 2024 at Virginia at age 45.4

     Debbie Ann Gearheart Debbie Ann Brown, 57, of Cross Lanes, unexpectedly went to Heaven to be with her sister, Drema Lee Smith, on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 with her family by her side. Debbie was born on October 8, 1958 in Charleston. Debbie dedicated her life to helping others. She was always there when her family and friends needed her. She loved spending time with her family and especially looked forward to their annual trip to New Smyrna Beach in Florida. Debbie worked as the office manager for Drs. Ayoubi and Hoylman for many years. She is leaving behind many close family and friends that mainly include her daughter, Emily Brown; parents, Charles and Delores Gearheart; brother, Terry (Donna) Gearheart; nieces, Amanda Smith and Sarah (Chad) Berry; great nephew, Michael Charles Berry and great niece, KyleeAnn Marie Berry.
