"Annie" Holt, on February 18, 1955 at Limestone, Washington Co., Tennessee.1,2,4 Paul Thomas "Tom" Jaynes Jr. died on February 19, 2016 at Chuckey, Greene Co., Tennessee, at age 87.3,5,7 He Paul Jaynes, Jr., 87, passed away on Friday, February 19, 2016 at Durham-Hensley Nursing Home in Chuckey, Tennessee. He was born in Limestone, Tennessee on October 1, 1928 to the late Paul Thomas Jaynes, Sr. and Anna Lee Williams Jaynes. Paul remained in the area his entire life. Mr. Paul Jaynes was a member of Limestone Fellowship Freewill Baptist Church. He served in the US Army and was a Veteran of the Korean War. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by brothers; Clio Jaynes and wife, Katie, Dwight Jaynes, Bill Jaynes and wife, Udema, and Joe Jaynes and wife, Margaret. Those left to cherish his memory are: his loving wife of 60 years, Anna Margaret Jaynes; sons, David Franklin Jaynes and wife, Elizabeth and Terry Lee Jaynes and wife, Kim; grandchildren, Tara L. Thompson and husband, Anthony, Daniel Jaynes and Nikki, Rachel Jaynes and Matt, Amy Jaynes, and Logan Jaynes and Kaitlyn; great-grandchildren, Grayson Babb and Brady and Piper Thompson; brothers, Jack Jaynes and wife, Ada, and John Jaynes; sister-in-law, Alma Jaynes; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to John Reid Nursing Home, Durham Hensley Nursing Home and the VA Medical Center for the kindness and compassion shown to Paul. There will be a graveside service with military honors held at the Mountain Home National Cemetery. on February 26, 2016.7
