Born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, he was a son of the late James Robert and Mary Ethel Kelly Fewell. Mr. Fewell was a U.S. Army Veteran, retired from Carolina Awning, and was of the Nazarene faith. In addition to his wife, Mr. Fewell is survived by three daughters, Sandy Fewell, Annette Fewell, and Laura Fewell; two brothers, Daniel Fewell and Steve Fewell; two sisters, Barbara Stewart and Gaynell Perkins; a sister-in-law, Angie Finch; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Wayne Lowry. Burial to follow in Cannon Memorial Park. on December 28, 2014.3

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Lee Dooley, four sons, Kenneth Bowyer of Oak Hill, Jack Bowyer and wife, Christy of Hico, Frank Bowyer of Charlotte, NC and Jerry Dooley, Jr. and wife, Jodi of Mannington, two daughters, Nancy Higginbotham and husband, Eddie of Scarbro and Ronnie Cogar and husband, Bob of Fairmont, one brother, James Persinger and wife, Kay of Oak Hill and three sisters, Ruth Freeman of Dublin, GA, Connie Edwards of Oak Hill and Barbara Lavender of Fayetteville. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.
