     Kevin Alton Furrow Kevin Alton Furrow, Dec 1, 1976 - Feb 2, 2026. With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kevin Alton Furrow, who left this world on February 2, 2026, at the age of 49. Kevin was a man known not for his struggles, but for his heart. He loved deeply, gave freely, and never hesitated to help someone in need. If you knew Kevin, you knew his generosity — he truly would have given the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. His kindness, sense of humor, and the way he showed up for others are the memories his family and friends will carry with them forever. He was loved beyond words and will be remembered for his warmth, his stories, and the deep love he had for his family. Kevin is now at peace and reunited with his beloved mother, Shelia Furrow, a reunion we know was filled with the kind of embrace only heaven can hold. He leaves behind a family who loved him fiercely, including his son, Tyler Furrow (Kelsey), whom he was so incredibly proud of; grandchildren, Tinsley Furrow and Levi Furrow, his father, Bill Furrow. He is also survived by his sisters, Tina Furrow Prillaman and Katie McBride; his brothers, Billy Furrow and Bobby Furrow (Linda); his nieces, Emily Furrow, Hannah Prillaman, Abby Furrow, Bailey Furrow, Hailey Furrow, Gracelyn Taylor and Bree Brown; his nephew, Gabe Furrow; his partner, Lorie Shoup; and his forever friend, Amanda (Mandy) Nelson. Many other great-nieces and great-nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly. Kevin also leaves behind many friends whose lives were brighter because he was in them. While our hearts ache with grief — and with the weight of moments we wish we could relive — we find comfort in knowing he is no longer in pain and is resting in eternal peace. Kevin will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.³ He was born on December 1, 1976 at Franklin Co., Virginia.^2,3 He died on February 2, 2026 at Virginia at age 49.³

She was born Jan. 4, 1927 in Ennice, N.C., to the late Omer and Bessie Bedsaul. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Poff. She is survived by her brother and sister in-law, Ivan and Louise Bedsaul of Galax; sister, Melba Dancey of Jefferson, NC. Burial was in the Crab Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. on April 13, 2010.³
