Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens Cemetery. Margie passed way Tuesday September 21st at her home in Anniston Alabama. Margie is survived by her sister and brothers Alice Harper, Joe Smith, Charles Smith, Larry Smith, and Arthur Smith, Two sons Dennis Moran Jr and his wife June; and James Moran and his wife Tonya, Eight Grandchildren Jessica, Sonia, Martin, Stephanie, Robert, Thomas, Charles, and Dennis, Two Great Grandchildren Brayden and Lainey Sue. Margie is preceded in death by her parents James and Mildred Smith as well as her husband Dennis Moran Sr. Pallbearers will Be: Dennis Moran Jr., James Moran, Martin Moran, Thomas Moran, Dennis P Moran, Charles M Moran, Brayden Moran, James A Smith. Margie was born in Anniston Alabama on September 7th 1944. She married Dennis Martin Moran on July 12th 1963 and was a loving military spouse until Dennis passed in 1983. She was a loving a caring Daughter, Sister, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Friend. on September 24, 2021.1

Robert Roy Hicks Jr. It is with much sadness that we announce that Robert Roy "Bob" Hicks Jr., 61, of Roanoke, Virginia, changed time for eternity on Sunday, March 28, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Roy Hicks Sr. and Phoebe Ann Wiggington Hicks, and his younger sister, Karen Leslie Blake. Bob was born on April 22, 1959, in Richmond, Virginia and moved to Roanoke, Virginia, as a young boy. He attended Cave Spring High School where he also coached Boys Basketball alongside his brother for 18 years. He enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with family and friends. Bob leaves behind his three cherished children, Sarah M. Hicks of Tampa, Fla., Joshua K. Hicks and wife, Christa Hicks, of Roanoke, Va., Kelsey Blake Brediger and husband, Samuel Brediger, of Floyd, Va; as well as six grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Tony Marie Levine and husband, Andy Levine, of Salem, Va; his brother, William Wesley Hicks of Roanoke, Va; multiple nieces and nephews; other family and many friends. Bob also leaves behind his partner, Lisa Crigler of Roanoke, Va., and three dogs, Willie, Macho and Remi. Words cannot express all of who Bob was, a father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend. We would like to thank the many family and friends over the years who have loved him, laughed with him, and supported him.3 He was born on April 22, 1959 at Richmond, Virginia.2,3 He married Amanda Leigh Conner, daughter of Fred Alton Conner Jr. and Janice Sue "Jinks" Moran, on July 5, 1997 at Buchanan Co., Virginia.1 Robert Roy Hicks Jr. and Amanda Leigh Conner were divorced on August 25, 2010 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.4 Robert Roy Hicks Jr. died on March 28, 2021 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 61.3
