Burial will be in Augusta Memorial Park in Waynesboro. A son of James Lee Manning a resident of a nursing home, and Peggy Roberts Manning of Verona, he was born on January 22, 1959 in Staunton and lived his entire life in the Verona area. Mr. Manning was a mechanical engineer for Blauch Brothers, Inc. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and also the Verona Loyal Order of the Moose. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid race car fan. Surviving in addition to his father and mother are four sisters, Mrs. Roger (Nancy) Graham of West Augusta, Mrs. Wayne (Janice) Davis of Crimora, Mrs. Ryland (Judy) Morris of Youngsville, North Carolina, and Mrs. Phillip (Carol) Stuart of Headwater, thirteen nieces and nephews; and many friends. Mr. Manning died at 2:00 Friday morning, December 25, 1992. on December 27, 1992.5

     Frank Edward "Eddie" Kosak was buried at Livingston Cemetery, Scotland Co., North Carolina.2 He married Carol Diane Manning, daughter of James Lee Manning and Peggy Mae Roberts.2 Frank Edward "Eddie" Kosak was born on January 1, 1950 at Laurinburg, Scotland Co., North Carolina.2,3,4 He died on April 9, 2022 at Augusta Co., Virginia, at age 72.2,4 He Frank Edward Kosak of Verona, Virginia (formerly of Laurinburg, NC) passed away on April 9, 2022. He was born in Laurinburg, NC on January 1, 1950, to the late Frank Henry and Martha Simpson Kosak. As a young man, he excelled in school athletics at Laurel Hill High School and Scotland High School. He attended N.C. State University and remained a WOLFPACK fan until his death. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing the sport for as long as his health allowed. He was well-read and a history buff who liked to engage in discussions about the state of the world with his friends. Eddie, as he was known to friends and family, worked as an electrician for most of his adult life—first in partnership with his late father in North Carolina; then moving to Staunton, Virginia where he opened K&K Electrical and operated that business until his death. He will be missed by his family, his many friends, and associates. He is survived by his wife, Carol Kosak; two sisters Emily G. Kosak and Lucinda K. Campbell of Laurinburg, NC; sons Lee Jordan of Laurinburg, NC, Ken Kosak of Hilton Head, SC, Brad Kosak (Amber) of Staunton, Virginia, and step-son Evan Stuart (Samantha) of Verona, Virginia; daughters Laura Kosak Wray (Chris) of Sugar Land, TX, Martha Kosak Maness of Pinehurst, NC, and step-daughter JoBeth Stuart-Souders (Pat) of Verona, Virginia; eleven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. A graveside service is being planned for a later date at the Livingston Cemetery in Laurel Hill, NC. on April 26, 2022.2

He was born Feb. 11, 1964 at Staunton, a son of Laura (Kiracofe) and Weldon A. Stuart. He was employed at Good Printers in Bridgewater and was an avid biker. On Sept. 2, 1989 he married Carol Diane (Manning) Stuart, who survives. Along with his widow and mother of Florida, surviving are a daughter, JoBeth Stuart; a son, Evan Lee; two brothers, William of Florida and James Stuart of Staunton; and a sister, Debrah Miller of Pasadena, Md. Burial at Headwaters Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gary Toman, Chuck Hart, Roger Ayers, Kevin Graham, Brandon Randall and Lennie Tolley. on September 13, 1996.1
