     Jack Hamblin Blair was buried at East View Cemetery, Union City, Obion Co., Tennessee.3 He Mr. Jack Hamblin Blair, 77, of Union City died 3:10 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville. Mr. Blair was born November 27, 1936, in Bristol, Virginia, son of the late Charles Franklin Blair, Sr. and Ruby Elizabeth (Houser) Blair. He had been the owner and operator of the former Blair Freight Systems. Mr. Blair was a wonderful supporter of Tn. Diamonds in the Ruff Rescue. He devoted many hours to rescuing homeless animals. He served in the U.S. Army Airborne at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Mr. Blair was of the Catholic faith. He is survived by his wife, Sandra (King) Blair of Union City; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Trent and Sharon Allman of Troy and Paul Allman of Union City; two daughters, Debbie Musser and Dawn Moore both of Bristol, Virginia; three sisters, Phyllis Barb of Bristol, Virginia, Polly Giardina of Florida and Peggy Kolodciej of New Hampshire; two brothers, Doug Blair of Baltimore, Maryland and Ronald Blair Bellamy of Bristol, Virginia; and four grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one son, Tony Blair; two sisters, Charlotte Ann Blair and Pinky Willis; and one brother, Charles Franklin Blair, Jr.2 He married Sandra Gwynne King, daughter of Willard William King and Nelda Frances Rakes.1,2 Jack Hamblin Blair was born on November 27, 1937 at Bristol, Virginia; His obotuary and grave stone have a birth year of 1936.2,3,4 He died on July 26, 2014 at Nashville, Davidson Co., Tennessee, at age 76.2,3

Ginger Farrington, 61, of Edgewood, formerly of Richmond, Virginia, died at her daughter’s home in Rising Sun, on September 9, 2003. Born in Richmond, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Luther David and Mary Lee Leadbetter Lacy. She had worked for 11 years as a teacher’s aide in special education. She was active in Towne Baptist Church, Joppa. She loved music, loved to sing, was involved in plays, and enjoyed traveling. Mrs. Farrington is survived by her husband, Robert B. Farrington; a son, Lacy Shelton Gearheart and his wife, Baerbel, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; two daughters, Peggy G. McQuitty and her husband, Gary, of Rising Sun, and Christy Lynn Konski and her husband, David, of Joppatowne; a sister, Barbara L. Wright of Manteo, North Carolina; and three grandchildren, Aly McQuitty of Rising Sun, Dylan McQuitty of Rising Sun, and Matthew David Konski of Joppatowne. Pallbearers will be: Lacy S. Gearheart, Gary G. McQuitty, David W.
