Ferrell, of Beech Island, SC, entered into rest Tuesday, January 1, 2019. Mr. Ferrell was born in Charleston, West Virginia to Alice Paxton Ferrell and the late Romie F. Ferrell. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired from Kimberly Clark with thirty-one years of service and he was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church and their Joy Sunday School Class. Before his health declined, Mr. Doug enjoyed camping and fishing. Surviving with his wife Janice, is his mother, Mrs. Alice Ferrell, Aiken, SC; his daughter, Beth Ferrell and his son Michael Ferrell, Jr, both of Beech Island, SC; a sister, Connie Ferrell, of Aiken, SC and his grandson, Colton Ferrell, of Beech Island, SC. Graveside services will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Luedy, 77, of Creston, formerly of Rittman, passed away Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, at Autumnwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, after a long illness. Clyde was born in Seville on April 11, 1933, to the late Henry and Ella (Walter) Luedy, and was raised on a dairy farm which is now the home of the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman. He graduated from Seville High School in the class of 1951. Clyde worked for Ohio Injector Co. in Wadsworth from 1954, until it closed in 1982, and then worked as facilities manager at Roetzel & Andress in Akron from 1982, until his retirement in 2002. He also had more than 35 years of security experience. Clyde enjoyed playing music with the semi-professional group, The Ludenares, for more than 37 years. Clyde was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1956, served two years of active duty, four years active reserve, and was honorably discharged in April 1962. Surviving are his wife, America (Tanner) Luedy of Rittman; children, Branden Luedy and Kimberly (Ron) Harris, both currently serving in the U.S. Marines. Clyde is also survived by daughters from his first marriage, Christie (Jeff) Yoho, Kay (Mark) Whims, Susan (Mike) Gessel, Lisa Pelfrey and Kelly (Ken) Park; nine grandchildren; a great-grandchild; caregiver and niece, Lori Luedy; and other nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Clyde was preceded in death by sisters, Lucille Dombroski, Helen Scheetz, Hazel Meager; and a brother, Gene Luedy. Graveside services will be held at Western Reserve National Cemetery, with military honors conducted by Wadsworth Honor Guard.³ He was born on April 11, 1933 at Seville, Medina Co., Ohio.^2,3,6,4 He married America L.
