In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sons and their wives, Donnie and Amber Sloan of Spencer and Jeffrey and Melissa Sloan of Walton; two grandchildren, Austin Tyler Sloan and Hailey Jade Sloan, both of Spencer, and a third grandchild on the way; one sister and her husband, Shannon and Rodney Epling of Spencer; two brothers and their wives, Bud and Angie Harper of Reedy and Jim and Sandy Harper of Beckley; paternal grandparents, Walter and Wanda Harper of Walton; four nephews, Chad Harper of Reedy, Justin and Jared Harper of Beckley and Layne Epling of Spencer; one niece, Chelsey Rhodes of Spencer and another niece on the way. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Rhonda Kay Sloan, and her maternal grandparents, Aubrey and Myrtle Miller. Per her wishes, the body will be cremated. on March 8, 2007.4
