     Linda Carol Viar Linda Viar Stowe, 75, of Madison Heights, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Ronald Eugene Stowe. Born September 25, 1941 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Homer Harris Viar and Freddie Brightwell Viar. In addition to being a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Linda was an Amherst County School bus driver for more than fifteen years. She loved to travel and was an avid gardener. She was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church. Linda is survived by four children, Vickie Stowe Craig of Rustburg, Ronald E. Stowe, Jr., Sarah Stowe Thacker and her husband Scott, all of Madison Heights, and William Joseph Stowe and wife Debra of Evington; five grandchildren, Garrett Stowe Ranson, Zachary C. Carter, Jayden Reid, and Kyleigh Stowe and a sister, Barbara V. Falls of Monroe.      Audrey Louise Leonard Audrey Leonard Abbott, 64, of Madison Heights, died Friday, March 12, 2010 at her residence. orn April 12, 1945 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Estol F. Leonard, Sr. and the late Garnetta Gladys Keesee Leonard and was also preceded in death by one sister, Ethel Leonard Williams. She was a retired hairdresser with Rivermont Beauty Salon and volunteered for ten years in the Emergency Room at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was a member of Madison Heights Baptist Church. Mrs. Abbott is survived by one son, William Randolph Viar; two daughters, Shawn Viar Singleton and husband, David and Deborah Viar Hubbard, all of Madison Heights; one brother, E.F. "Sonny" Leonard and wife, Frances of Forest; three sisters, Estelle L. Brock of Lynchburg, Betty L. Hudson and husband, Harold and Christine L. Lacks and husband, Bill, all of Goode; four grandchildren, Jason Lee Peters, Christopher Thomas Miller, Blake Edward Randolph Miller, and Keely Ryce Coleman and three great-grandchildren, Conner James Miller, Georgia Rae Miller, and Hunter William Glass (Peters) and extended family member, friend, and caretaker, Becky Yeatts.
