She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Edward F. Parcha; daughter, Chelsea Parcha; grandson, Jaxon Bailey; mother, Hilda Allen.⁴ She was born on October 27, 1964 at Lynchburg, Virginia.^1,2 As of December 30, 1988,her married name was Parcha.¹ She married Edward Frank Parcha Jr. on December 30, 1988 at Roanoke, Virginia.^1,4 Roberta Carol Davis died on February 2, 2016 at Virginia at age 51.⁴

She was born on September 20, 1923 in Albemarle County, a daughter of the late Alonzo and Agnes (Kirby) Collins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Leonard Gowans, Jr. and Gaylon “Bill” Wood, Jr; a daughter, Becky Brown; a granddaughter, Allison Roberts; a great grandson, Dylan Richardson; two sisters; and one brother. Mildred retired from the University of Virginia Hospital. She was a member of Hillsboro Baptist Church in Yancey’s Mill. She enjoyed cooking and birdwatching. Survivors include a son, Ralph D. Gowans and wife, Bonnie of Scottsville; a daughter, Hazel A. Bailey of Amherst; a son-in-law, Charlie Brown of Louisa; 6 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a number of other extended family members and friends.
