His relationship with Dodge dates back to 1919 when he first became affiliated with a dealership in Lynchburg. He helped organize the North Carolina Dealers Association and was the first treasurer of the group. He also served as director of the organization and as president of the Eastern North Carolina Dodge Dealers Association. He was a member of the Dodge Brothers Advisory Council of North Carolina. He was a veteran of World War I. He was a member of the First Baptist Church American Legion Durham Post No. 7, Hope Valley Country Club. On Sept 8, 1923, he was married to the former Miss Melba Stephens of Lynchburg, who survives as do two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Dancy Hall, Durham and Mrs. Frank L. She was born in Lynchburg, VA, the daughter of the late James Bly Dancy and Melba Mae Dancy. She was preceded in death by her first husband, W. Preston Hall formerly of Durham who passed away last year in Florida; second husband, Charles Samuel Cooper; step-son, Charles S. Cooper, Jr; daughter-in-law, Crystal Hall; and brother-in-law, Col. Francis Lewis Eubank, Jr. Mrs. Cooper received her Bachelor’s Degree from The College of William and Mary and her Master’s Degree in Social Work from UNC Chapel Hill. She was a former member of a senior tap dance club, enjoyed a relaxing afternoon on the porch at the beach, as well as traveling with her husband Charles. Mrs. Cooper is survived by her daughter, Bly Hall and husband Ralph Cook; son, James Stephen Hall; step-son, Stephen Cooper and wife Janie; sister, Martha Dancy Eubank; grandchildren, Stephen Jerome Hall and wife Tegan, Justin Thomas Hall, Jennifer Bly Cook and husband WuDi Wu; step-grandchildren, Brian Cooper, Blake Cooper; nieces, Frances Fuller and husband David, Heather Crane and husband Duke; great nephews, Reid Fuller, Spencer Crane; and great niece, Ky Fuller. Frank Lewis Eubank Jr. was buried at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia.⁵ He was born on April 5, 1940 at James City Co., Virginia.^4,5,6 He married Martha Helen Dancy, daughter of James Bly Dancy and Melba Mae Stephens, on January 26, 1962 at Wake Co., North Carolina.^1,2,3,4,5 Col. Frank Lewis Eubank Jr. died on October 13, 2012 at North Carolina at age 72.⁵ He Col. Francis Lewis Eubank Jr., Ret. of Williamsburg, Virginia was born on April 5, 1940 to Noretta Greenwood Eubank and Francis Lewis Eubank. He died Saturday, October 13, 2012 at his home. He shared 50 wonderful years with his wife, Martha Helen Dancy Eubank. His daughters, Frances Helen Eubank Fuller and her husband, David Charles Fuller, and Heather Dancy Eubank Crane and her husband, Dr. Peter Duke Crane; and three grandchildren, Kylie Elizabeth Fuller, Reid McNeill Fuller and Spencer Duke Crane, will treasure, honor and always remember the life of this loving father and grandfather. His sister-in-law, Patricia Cooper; and his niece and nephews, Bly Hall, Steve Hall, and Ralph Cook; and their children will also hold him in their hearts. Col. Eubank was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School in Richmond, Va. and of Duke University in Durham. He also earned an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. An avid Duke University basketball fan, a regular attendee of Duke Women's Basketball and an ever-optimistic Duke football fan, Col. Eubank was a Blue Devil to the last. Col. Eubank served 30 years in the Air Force from June of 1962 until September 1992. Throughout his Air Force career, he served in munitions, maintenance, and logistics. His early years were spent in the Pacific theater, including Vietnam, and he served several years at the Pentagon. Col. Eubank attended the Air War College achieving Distinguished Graduate status and was asked to stay on as part of the faculty. He finished his distinguished career at Strategic Air Command Headquarters as the Director of Logistics. An outstanding member of the Air Force, Col. Eubank earned many medals during his long career, including the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star, the Meritorious Service Medal (three oak leaf clusters), the Joint Service Commendation Medal, the Air Force Commendation Medal (one oak leaf cluster), National Defense Service Metal with one bronze star, Vietnam Service Medal with four bronze stars, the Humanitarian Service Medal, the Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm Device, the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, as well as many other awards, commendations, and ribbons. He will be interred in Arlington Cemetery at a later date with full military honors. on October 18, 2012.⁵

     Rebecca Ann “Becky” Grubbs Rebecca "Becky" A. Davis, 61, of South Charleston passed away Monday, July 20, 2015 at her residence. She was born August 15, 1953 in Springfield, the daughter of the late Anna (Knisley) Grubbs. Becky retired from the Post Office as a mail carrier in August of 2010. Survivors include her son, Marc (Amber) Davis of South Charleston; one brother, Bobby Grubbs of Florida; three very special grandchildren, Hunter, Harlee and Hayden Davis; one niece, April (Brian) Catanzaro and their children, Isabella and Gianna Catanzaro and one aunt, Jo Rockfield of South Vienna. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tara Davis in 1993; one sister, Deborah Urbanija and one niece, Mandi Jo Stouffer.¹ She was born on May 15, 1953 at Springfield, Clark Co., Ohio.¹ As of September 30, 1972,her married name was Davis.² She married Steven Edwin Davis, son of Lowell Edwin Davis and Deloris Elizabeth Mann, on September 30, 1972 at Clark Co., Ohio.² Rebecca Ann “Becky” Grubbs died on July 20, 2015 at Clark Co., Ohio, at age 62.¹
