Born September 26, 1947 in Atkins, VA she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Kegley and Marybelle Welch Kegley. Nannie was a homemaker and enjoyed baking, sewing and making clothes for her grandchildren. She attended Silver Springs Baptist Church in Princeton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jeffery Stafford; and two brothers, Claude Kegley and Jimmy Kegley. Survivors include her sons, Charles G. “Greg” Sheets and wife Hanna of Lashmeet and Adam W. Sheets and wife Amanda of Rock; two sisters, Rose Lane of Danville, VA and Barbara Freeman of Atkins, VA; one brother, Reed Kegley and wife Kathy of Groseclose, VA; and six grandchildren.      Victor Shane Shaffer Victor Shane Shaffer, 47, of Kernersville, N.C., formerly of Princeton, died Sunday, July 12, 2009, at Forsythe Medical Center in Winston-Salem, N.C. Born November 21, 1961, in Princeton, he was the son of Billie Jean Shaffer of Kernersville and the late Darrell Eugene Shaffer. He formerly operated Shaffer Tree Service and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Kernersville. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Shaffer; maternal grandmother, Nellie Matherly; and paternal grandparents, Herbert and Goldie Shaffer. Survivors in addition to his mother include one son, Adam Shane Shaffer of Pennsylvania; fiancé and devoted caregiver, Tonya Aliff of Kernersville; sister, Vanessa Shan McMahon and her husband Curtis of Kernersville; three brothers, David Shaffer and his wife Debbie of St. Petersburg, Fla., Fred Walls and his wife Judy and James Walls and his wife Sharon, all of Princeton; and grandchildren. An angel on Earth spread her wings and entered through the pearly gates to meet her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Violet was born on Thursday, November 28, 1935 in Mercer County, W.Va. to the late Johnny Mitchem and Etta Bennington Mitchem. She had been a member of the Bramwell Wesleyan Church for the past 57 years. She had been a resident of Bramwell, W.Va. for the past 47 years.      Robert Darrell Williby was buried at Oakvale Cemetery, Oakvale, Mercer Co., West Virginia.² He was born on November 30, 1950 at West Virginia.¹ He married Sharon Gail Mantooth on June 28, 1972 at Giles Co., Virginia.¹ Robert Darrell Williby died on March 4, 2015 at Peterstown, Monroe Co., West Virginia, at age 64.² He Robert "Bobby" Darrell Williby, 64, of Peterstown, WV died peacefully with his loving family by his side after a courageous battle, against all odds, on Wednesday, March 4, 2015. Born in Mercer County on November 30, 1950, he was the son of the late Arnold Williby and Frances Blanche Williby. He owned several successful businesses, including B&B Sealing. Bobby hired and mentored many young men who bettered themselves as a direct result of knowing and working for him. An avid and committed outdoorsman, he loved hunting and fishing, and introducing his nephews and grandchildren to the joys of the outdoors. He was present many times when younger family members took their first deer. Bobby served in the U.S. Army 5th Battalion, 68th Armored Unit and was stationed overseas in Germany until his honorable discharge in 1972. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Ray Williby; stepson, Kevin Leonard Pickle; and three brothers, Arnold "Bo" Williby, Donald Williby, and Jerry Ray Williby. Survivors include his wife of many years, Sharon Williby of the home; two daughters, Robin Scott and husband Rodney and Brittany and Jonathon Baker; three granddaughters, Ashley Weese, Haleigh Scott, and Lexi Baker; one grandson, Nicholas Scott all of Mercer County; two brothers, Larry Williby and wife Ginger and Dennis Williby and wife Becky Mae all of Oakvale; mother-in-law, Inez French of Peterstown; loving niece, Becky Lynn Bennett and husband Roger; family friend, Fred Pitzer and wife Crystal; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who loved and enjoyed his company. Interment will be held at a later date in the Oakvale Cemetery. on March 7, 2015.²
