Born Aug. 6, 1963 in Princeton, he was the son of Elder David Bailey and Ruby Owens Bailey of Princeton. Mr. Bailey was employed by Shrewsbury Machine and Casting for the past 20 years where he will be sadly missed. Kevin loved the outdoors and hunting, especially bow hunting. In 1992 he received an award for killing the 10th largest bear in the state of West Virginia for that year. He enjoyed restoring and painting late model Chevy trucks. He was of the Primitive Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Ida Mae Wood Bailey; and his maternal grandparents, John and Gertie Owens. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 21 years, Mary Catherine "Cathy" Harmon Bailey; two sons, Ricky Earl Bailey and Devin Charles Bailey; his daughter, Hannah Elysabeth Bailey, whom he adored; one sister, Beverly Quick and her husband Steve of Bent Mountain; one brother, Kenneth "Teddy" Bailey and his wife Linda of Bradenton, Fla; four nieces; two nephews; one great-niece; special cousin, Lisa Weikle Jones; and lifetime friend from childhood, Brian Simpkins. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. on December 22, 2004.3

Mrs. Haun is survived by her sons, Charles Wayne Neely Jr. and Jeremy Justin Neely, both of Bluefield; her mother, Rita Nave Haun of Bluefield and her father and his wife, Jim and Gloria Haun of Princeton; brother, Jim Haun Jr. of Princeton and wife Deborah and daughter, Lindsey; brother, Carl A. Haun of Winter Haven, Fla; and sister, Teresa Haun-Battestin and husband Gary and sons, Tyler and Samuel of Orlando, Fla. Ms. Haun is also survived by a loving extended family consisting of her Aunt Rosetta and Uncle Wade Miles of Winter Haven, and their daughters, Pamela, Debbie and Elaine. Additional survivors include her stepbrother and his wife, Tracy and Mary Burks and their children and her stepsister and her husband, Rene and Gary Wingate and their children. Finally, Ms. Haun is survived by the father of her children, Charles Neely Sr. of Princeton and a special friend, Eddie Gray of Cedar Bluff, Va. Ms. Haun had recently become a member of the Church of Christ in Cedar Bluff where she played the piano and was involved in the music ministry. Ms. Haun graduated from Bluefield High School in 1973, and attended Virginia Interment College and moved to Winter Haven area in early 1980s. She worked for many years in the capacity of office manager for several automobile dealerships in the Winter Haven-Lakeland area until moving to Tampa in the late 1990s. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eddie Jeffcoat, her best friend, Susan York, both formerly of Tampa, Fla. Ms. Haun recently relocated to West Virginia to be with family. She will be missed by all who had the fortune of knowing her. Interment will be at a later date in the Ida Cemetery in Bentree. on May 27, 2004.2

Born in Red Ash, Va., she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Lydia Lankford Whited. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his one sister, Lydia Ethel “Queenie” Franklin, Brother in law, Bobby Dale Shreve, a step son Marvin Munoz and the Mother of his children, Jessie Linkous.
