He retired from ITT Teves, Culpeper, Va., as a machine tooling engineer in 1986. Warren served in the U.S. Army Air Force as a master seargent for the 82nd Airbourne Division. During his tour in Europe during World War II, he was proud to have been personally responsible as Crew Chief for General Eisenhower and General Patten's personal planes. He served his country proudly from 1942 until 1946. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Willie Tingler; a brother, Richard Tingler, Jr; a stepsister, Margaret Hearst; and a son, Richard Graham Tingler. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Evelyn French Tingler; a son, Warren Gary Tingler; three grandchildren, Richard Graham Tingler, Jr., Shannon Gail Fugate, and Stuart Graham Tingler; and two greatgrandchildren, Lonnie Ethan and Gillian Nicole Fugate. He is also survived by two sisters, Nell Fuller and Connie Urich; two nephews, Jonny Fuller and Scott Fuller; and four nieces, Linn Mills, Pam Rhoney, Pat Hearst, and Shirley Gibson. Military graveside service at Culpeper National Cemetery. on May 27, 2007.8

     Virginia Constance "Connie" Tingler Constance Tingler (Connie) Uarich, age 86, of 2789 Windy Hill Lane, Powhatan, Virginia, and formerly of Eagle Rock, Virginia, died Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her husband, daughter, and son-in-law. She was born April 20, 1925 in Clifton Forge, Virginia, to the late James Richard Tingler, Sr. and Willie Hamilton Tingler. She was a retired laboratory technician for Hercules, Inc. at Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. She was a member of Longdale Baptist Church in Botetourt County, Virginia. Connie was an artist in different media. She also enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and gardening. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and loved her dog, Duchess. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Graham Tingler and Richard Tingler, Jr; a sister, Nelle Fuller; and a step grandson, Ben Jones. She is survived by her husband, John Lawrence Uarich, Jr. of Powhatan; a daughter, Pamela Rhoney and husband, Bill of Powhatan; two step daughters, Laura Campbell of Covington and Linda Jones of Buena Vista; three grandchildren, Brittany Rhoney, Jonathan Rhoney, and Cameron Rhoney; three step grandchildren, Moriah Barger, Hayley Campbell, and Jesse Campbell; three step great grandchildren; and three nephews. Interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park, Low Moor.      John Lawrence Uarich Jr. was buried at Alleghany Memorial Park, Low Moor, Alleghany Co., Virginia.4,2 He John Lawrence Uarich, Jr., 86, Powhatan, VA passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2019. He was born on September 5, 1932 to the late John Lawrence Uarich Sr and Margaret Dereweki. He was also preceded by his wife, Constance Tingler Uarich and grandson, Benjamin F. Jones. He was proud of his heritage as a first generation American as his father's family immigrated from the former Yugoslavia region of Croatia in the early 1900's. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War stationed in Panama, was a founding member of the Covington Church of Christ and carried out the first baptism in the new building, was an early member of the Covington area Kiwanis Club in the early 1960's, retired from Hercules and moved to Bristol, VA where he worked for Camac for a number of years then retired to the Richmond area. He is survived by daughters, Pamela L. (William) Rhoney, Linda M. (Benney) Jones and Laura A. (Jay) Campbell; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; aunt, Millie Sabo and cousin, Susan Sabo. Interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park, Low Moor. Military rites will be conducted at the graveside by members of the Curtis A.
