Born October 18, 1953, in Danville, he was a son of Virginia Yeatts Hunt, of Gretna, and the late C.D. Hunt, Jr. Most of Charlie's life was spent in Gretna, where he was active in the car business. He was a graduate of Hargrave Military Academy and Ferrum University. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church and a member of Anderson Masonic Lodge 258 A.F. & A.M. Charlie was very active with the Gretna Youth Sports as a sponsor, supporter, and as an assistant coach. In addition to his mother he is survived by his twin daughters, Ann Lewis Hunt, of Evington, and Molly Yeatts Hunt, of Concord; three brothers, C. David Hunt, III, of Davidson, NC, Stephen L. Hunt, of Orlando, FL, James Coleman Hunt, of Gretna; a sister, Rebecca Dare Sparks, of Shallotte, NC. on December 12, 2007.7
