In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Sue Johnson; a sister, Christine Faultner; and a brother, Leonard Thomas. Those left to cherish her memory include a daughter, Barbara Acord and her husband, Kevin, of Fishersville, Va; a son, Howard Johnson and his wife, Eun, stationed with the U.S. Army in Texas; three grandchildren, Tiana Acord, Kindra Acord and Lucas Clark; four sisters, Genieve Tolliver of Bud Mountain, Rella Tingler of Coal City, Edna Mae Thomas of South Carolina, and Marie Thomas of King, N.C; two brothers, Oliver Roscoe Thomas of King, N.C., and Bernard Thomas of Bud Mountain. on May 18, 2008.5

Born Dec. 5, 1947, he was the son of the late Hallie Virginia Adams Cook and Calvin Clifford Cook of Ramey Addition. Clyde was owner/operator of Wyoming Refrigeration and employed by the Wyoming County Board of Education as a refrigeration mechanic for seven years prior to his disability. In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Carol Renae Fox Cook; his son, Brandon Cook of Rainelle; his brother, Leslie "Les" Cook of Ramey Addition; and his mother and father-in-law, Loretta and Carol Fox, his brother-in-law, Keith Fox, and his sister-in-law, Karen Fox Workman, all of Lewisburg. He also had many dear and special friends who will miss him. At Clyde's request, a casual graveside service for family and friends will be 1 p.m. today at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville, with the Rev. Jerry Cook of Oceana officiating. on March 11, 2008.3
