Burial will be at Brethren Cemetery, east of Dallas Center. Bruce was born September 1, 1949, west of Dallas Center, to Karl and Opal (Nissly) Kuehl and big sister, Peggy Jo. Grandparents were Paul and Lois (Parmenter) Kuehl and Charlie and Alma (Good) Nissly. After Waukee High School and McPherson College, Bruce farmed near Waukee and Dallas Center until retirement. Bruce and his loving wife, Jackie (Beaman) Hoffa, were married January 5, 2007. They praised God every day they had together. They enjoyed traveling, morning coffee with bible reading, the deer and other wildlife that often traveled along the creek in their backyard. Bruce and Jackie were constant companions and enjoyed evenings at home with their three little dogs, Sophie, Mitzi and Shelbie, while watching Gaither gospel videos and other various gospel music videos. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and sister, Peggy Jo King. Bruce was also preceded by his wife of only 11 months, due to cancer, Judy (Rowland) Kuehl and their unborn baby in 1975. In 1987, Bruce married Becky Jo Kuefner, who was killed April 10, 2006, in a tragic house explosion at the family Century Farm Home. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Jackie Kuehl; step-son, Bryan (Beth) Hoffa; stepdaughter, Cheryl (Ryan) Phillips; step grandchildren, Ashley, Allyson and Brooke Hoffa and Caitlin and Charlie Phillips; nephews, Sean (Jami) King, Aaron (Melissa) King; brother-in-law, Bob (Joy) King and many other treasured family members and friends. on July 26, 2014.4
