Linwood was an electrician's helper with Lakeside Electric, prior to his courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Brenda E. Dunivan; a son, Linwood "Lenny" Ray Dunivan Jr; a grandson, Tyler Joseph Dunivan; five sisters, Emily Virginia McDaniel, Dorothy "Blondie" Freeman, Phyllis Hicks, Janie Bibb, and Julia Stanley; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Louisa, Va. on April 24, 2005.5

He is survived by his parents David Wayne Stallard, Sr. and Patricia Grey Keen Stallard of Buford GA; sister Jennifer Grey Stallard (and Denny) Dennis, nephew Benjamin Wayne and niece Sarah Lynn of Grand Rapids MI; grandparents Dr. Clinton W. & Virginia Stallard of Newport News, VA; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, & cousins in VA, WV, NJ, SC & OH, and close friends. David was born in Buffalo NY on October 14, 1967. He grew up living in Chicago IL, Cleveland OH, Milan MI, and East Grand Rapids MI. He graduated from University of Michigan with a BS in Biology. Later, he lived in San Francisco CA and in Newton WV; both of which were places he especially loved. In San Francisco, he worked for Genentech, a world-famous pharmaceutical research company. He also thoroughly enjoyed the time he experienced doing social work. At the time of his death he was Vice President of PSI, a family employee benefits business in Metro Atlanta GA. He always strived to be the best at anything he tried. He was musically talented and helped establish a hard rock band named Car Wash at MTU and in San Francisco. He was very accomplished at percussion, banjo, guitar, violin, & even the fiddle. He was an eloquent writer and a talented photographer. With his talents in the arts and his skills in the sciences, he was truly right and left brained, as they say. He loved to travel, visiting Europe, England, Japan, Mexico, Belize, Canada, Hawaii, and most of the islands in the Caribbean. He spoke Spanish, Swahili, and learned to speak Japanese for a trip with his mother to Tokyo in 2005. David was passionate about social justice, and protected and enjoyed nature and wildlife. He had a respectful gentleness about him, and was gifted with a brilliant intellect and a wonderful sense of humor. Dave will be deeply missed by his friends and loved ones! On November 11, 2012.
