     Dorothy Jo Hamlett was buried at Carolina Memorial Park, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, Charleston Co., South Carolina.³ She Dorothy Jo Jessee of North Charleston, SC, wife of the late Homer Jessee, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 20, 2014. Dorothy was born on July 28, 1933 in Kingsport, TN, daughter of the late Joseph C. Hamlett and Viola Hamlett. Dorothy was a wife, mother, grandmother "Mamaw" and great-grandmother and spent her life making a loving home for her family. She is survived by her children, Tenna M. Goodyear (George) and Larry A. Jessee (Karen); four grandchildren, Jason, Brad, Brittany and Rachel; and three great-grandchildren, Dakota, Bailey and Parker. She is also survived by her sister, Patsy Miller (Mandy) of Hanover, PA, and an extended family of nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband of 51 years, Dorothy was predeceased by her sister, Lucille Christian of Kingsport, TN.
A graveside service will take place on Friday, April 25th, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Carolina Memorial Park. Dorothy's nephew, Joe Miller, will be officiating the service. The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude for the wonderful care given by the hospice staff of Intrepid Hospice.³ She was born on July 28, 1933 at Kingsport, Sullivan Co., Tennessee.³ As of March, 1953,her married name was Jessee.⁵ She married Homer Jessee in March, 1953 at York Co., Pennsylvania.^3,5 Dorothy Jo Hamlett died on April 20, 2014 at Charleston Co., South Carolina, at age 80.³

Delmar Christian, 50, 553 Lenior Road, died at Holston Valley Community Hospital at 10:20 a.m. Saturday, after a brief illness. He was born in Hawkins County, and had been a resident of Sullivan County for 21 years. He was an employee of the Mead Corp. for 29 years. Surviving are his wife, Lucille Hamlett Christian; two daughters, Mrs. Eva Gott, Wise, Va., and Mrs. Vickie Godsey, Kingsport; a son, William Delmar Christian, Kingsport; a sister, Mrs. Irene Crawford, Church Hill; two brothers, Ivan A. Christian and F.M. Christian, both of Church Hill; and two grandchildren. on January 11, 1976.⁴

     Arthur Lee Hamlett was buried at Vermont United Methodist Church Cemetery, Bloomingdale, Sullivan Co., Tennessee.¹ He died on September 2, 1951 at Sullivan Co., Tennessee.¹ He was born on September 2, 1951 at Sullivan Co., Tennessee.¹

     William Delmar Christain Jr. was born on January 21, 1954 at Kingsport, Sullivan Co., Tennessee.³ He married Donna Wolfe on July 27, 1975 at Kingsport, Sullivan Co., Tennessee.² William Delmar Christain Jr. died on July 26, 2019 at Kingsport, Sullivan Co., Tennessee, at age 65.³ He FALL BRANCH - William “Jake” Delmar Christian Jr., 65, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 26, 2019, at The Wexford House, Kingsport, TN. Jake, was born January 21, 1954, in Kingsport, TN to the late William Delmar Sr. & Margie Lucille Hamlett Christian. He had lived in Fall Branch for the past 3 years. Jake was a 1972 graduate of Ketron High School and went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree from UT. He was a heavy equipment operator for Fluor Daniels at Eastman Chemical Co. He went on to own and operate Mountain Made by Jake. He was a member of Restoration Church in Bloomingdale. Jake enjoyed deer hunting and loved animals, especially his dogs Spanky and Eli. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Charlee Jo Whitehead & husband Jordan, and step daughter Anna Vaughn; two sisters, Vickie Godsey & husband Tommy, Eva Gott & husband Jim; several nieces and nephews; two favorite dogs Spanky and Eli. on July 27, 2019.³

     Homer Jessee was buried at Carolina Memorial Park, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, Charleston Co., South Carolina.³ He was born on February 7, 1929 at Russell Co., Virginia.^2,3 He married Dorothy Jo Hamlett, daughter of Joseph Crawford Hamlett and Viola L. Moffitt, in March, 1953 at York Co., Pennsylvania.^1,4 Homer Jessee died on September 2, 2004 at Charleston Co., South Carolina, at age 75.³

     William Harold Veach was buried at Spring Hill Cemetery and Mausoleum, Danville, Vermilion Co., Illinois.^4,5 His Social Security Number was 323-28-6935.³ He was born on December 24, 1933 at Danville, Vermilion Co., Illinois.^3,4,6 He died on September 7, 1986 at Des Moines, Polk Co., Iowa, at age 52.^4,6,5 He William H. Veach, 52, of 809 E. Broadway Ave., died of complications following brain surgery Sunday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery in Danville, Ill. Mr. Veach was born in Danville, Ill., and had lived in Des Moines for 20 years. He had been a printer for Job Service of Iowa. Survivors include six daughters, Tamsela Holzhauser of Pleasantville, Melissa Ellesson, Jackie Chiles and Linda Ordway, all of Portland, Ore., Rhonda Kaufman of Denver, Colo., and Sue Cook of Vancouver, Wash; two sons, Gregory of Des Moines and Mike of Vancouver, Wash; a sister, Alice Bissell of Marion, Ind; a brother, Frank Jr. of Danville, Ill; and 12 grandchildren. on September 9, 1986.⁵
