Beloved mother of Wayne Gore (Ann), Judy Frankel (Mark, M.D.), Molena Pantenburg (Richard), Keith Gore (Pam) and the late Ruth Gore; grandmother of Matthew Gore, Stephen English, Lisa Lay (Brad), Teresa King (Ian), Adam Gore, David Gore and the late Jimmy English and Dana Rolland; great-grandmother of Brittany, Bridgett, Bradley Jr., Kelsey Jean, Cameron, Ashton, Elizabeth, Evan, Ben, Braiden, Maddox, Jaxson and Karson; sister of Bunky, Ruby, Carol and the late Dora, Beulah, Charlie, Billy, Paul, Lawrence, Bobbie, Polly and Pat. Passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014.² She was born on April 10, 1919 at West Virginia.^3,2 As of March 13, 1936,her married name was Gore.¹ She married Monte Gore, son of Joseph Edward Gore and Lizzie Neph Thompson, on March 13, 1936 at Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia.¹ Jenette V.      Vincent Ray Vass was buried at New Hope Church Cemetery, Monroe Co., West Virginia.¹ He Vincent Ray Vass, 74, of Forest Hill, died at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, October 7, 2017, at Summers Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at Hilldale following a long illness. Born November 13, 1942, in Hinton, he was the son of the late Cary Vincent and Bobbie Gore Vass. Vincent was retired from the West Virginia Department of Highways and was also a farmer. He attended Pence Springs Community Church at Pence Springs. He was a lifelong resident of Summers County. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother. Survivors include two brothers, Denny Vass and Danny Vass, both of Columbia, SC. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery at Marie.² He was born on November 13, 1942 at Hinton, Summers Co., West Virginia.² He died on October 7, 2017 at Hilldale, Summers Co., West Virginia, at age 74.¹

Born Aug. 5, 1937, at Sandlick, he was the son of the late Dawson S. and Amelia Faye Biggs Daniel. Mr. Daniel was a mechanic, working for Safeway Trucking Company and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Daniel, and a brother, Dawson S. Daniel Jr. Survivors include six sons, David, Charlie, Timothy, Matthew, Albert and Billy; a daughter, Teresa Gavin; three brothers, Carlos Biggs of Yale, Mich., William Daniel of Bradley and David Daniel of Franconia, Va; seven sisters, Juanita Cook of Oak Hill, Goldie Harper and Jessie Porter, both of Ashland, Ohio, Ella Mitchem of Harper, Doris Miller of Beckley, Virginia Mitchem of Hinton and Nettie Silsby of Falls Church, Va; and eight grandchildren. Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery at Mount Tabor. on September 8, 1995.⁴

     Theresa Lynn Daniel Teresa Gauvin, 56, of Charles Town, WV passed away on Sunday, November 29th, 2020 at her home, 922 Wilt Rd., Charles Town, West Virginia 25414. Born December 18th, 1963 in Beckley, West Virginia, she was the Daughter of Dorsey Cole Daniel and Brenda Kay Presnell. She was a member of the Roman Catholic Parish of St. James the Greater in Charles Town. Teresa was a loving mother and wife. She is survived by one daughter, Jessica Nicole Gauvin of Charles Town; three sons, Ryan Wade Strong Gauvin of San Diego, CA; Christopher Lowry, Jr. of Charles Town and Owen Joseph Gauvin, Jr. of Charles Town, five granddaughters, Destiny Lynn Lowry, Alana Michelle Gauvin, Serenity Rose Gauvin, Savannah Reign Gauvin and Anastasia Grace Lowry, two grandsons, Johnathan Cole Lowry and Tayveon Juelz Delgado, five brothers, Charles Daniel, Timothy Daniel, Matthew Daniel, David French, and Albert Daniel and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. She was preceded in death by her father, Dorsey Daniel, her mother, Brenda Presnell, her brother, Jerry Daniel, and her husband, Owen Gauvin. Born June 28, 1956 in Childress, Texas, he was the son of Eleanor West Gauvin and the late Gerald Raymond Gauvin. He was a member of the Roman Catholic Parish of St. James the Greater in Charles Town. Owen was a graduate of the University of Maryland, class of 1982, with a B.S. degree. He worked at the law firm White and Case for over 25 years in Washington, DC. He was an Eagle Scout earning three palms. In addition to his mother, Eleanor, he is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Teresa Lynn Daniel Gauvin of Charles Town; one daughter, Jessica Nicole Gauvin of Charles Town; three sons, Ryan Wade Strong Gauvin of San Diego, CA; Christopher Lowry, Jr. of Charles Town and Owen Joseph Gauvin, Jr. of Charles Town, five granddaughters, Destiny Lynn Lowry, Alana Michelle Gauvin, Serenity Rose Gauvin, Savannah Reign Gauvin and Anastasia Grace Lowry, two grandsons, Johnathan Cole Lowry and Tayveon Juelz Delgado, two sisters, Michelle Gauvin and Anita Gauvin, one brother, Michael Gauvin and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.      Jackie Lee Harvey was buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5250 Robert Centre Byrd Drive, Prosperity, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.^1,2 He On Tuesday, May 16, 2017 our most loved, Jackie Lee Harvey passed away at the Bower Hospice House following a very long painful illness. He was 69 years of age. Known as Elvis by his friends and family, Jackie Lee Harvey was born February 4, 1948, at Bobwhite, West Virginia. One of seven children, his parents were the late James Harvey and Oma Bell Hurley-Harvey. His brothers, Everett Harvey, Bill Harvey, and Glen Harvey have preceded him in death as well. Left to cherish his memories are brothers, James E. Harvey and Paul R. Harvey and sister, Teresa Harvey-Roberts; daughter Pamela Harvey-Galvan and many relatives.
