Ronnie was a member of Saint Ann Catholic Church in Bellevue. She enjoyed being outdoors, reading, traveling, and horses. She is survived by her children; Keith Boyd of Lansing, Penny Franklin of Cortez, Colorado, and Jacqueline (James) Finley of Bellevue; grandchildren, Frances Franklin, Joshuah Jones, and Melanie Cheney; and several great-grandchildren; a sister Florence of Raleigh, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Kadren took pride in maintaining the golf course for others to enjoy. Outside of work, he enjoyed family time, golf, fishing, carpentry and stock car racing. He was an active member at First Baptist Church of Walnut Cove where he served on the building and grounds committee. A 1:00 p.m. funeral service will be held Saturday, August 6, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Walnut Cove with Rev. Jim Cohn and Rev. Keith Love officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. He was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Robertson Adkins. He is survived by his loving wife, Valencia Goins Robertson of the home; sons, Cody Kadren Robertson and wife Amanda of Pinnacle and Spence Taylor Robertson of the home; parents, Orell and Alsine Robertson of Walnut Cove; two brothers, Floyd Robertson and wife Loretta of Greensboro, Keith Robertson and wife Cynthia of Walnut Cove; one sister, Vanessa Robertson and husband Bobby Bowden of Walnut Cove; father and mother-in-law, R.W. and Alice Goins, sister-in-law, Teresa Goins and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Mrs. Gempp, who graduated from Eastern High School, was a member and former president of the Soroptimist International of Towson, a professional women's service organization. She was also a member of St John's Lutheran Church. In addition to her husband, ber survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Donna Hindle, Mrs. Judith Gordon and Mrs. Patricia Krueger, all of Baltimore; a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Kubski, of Baltimore, and nine grandchildren. on August 13, 1977.7
