     Edward Green "Ed" Wagoner Edward Green Wagoner, October 15, 1946 - August 17, 2014. Edward Green “Porter” Wagoner, age 67 of Ferrum passed away Sunday, August 17, 2014. He was born October 15, 1946 the first son of Floyd and Glendola Nichols Wagoner. Ed was a loving caring son, brother, husband and father. Ed was an avid outdoorsman and loved to travel, buy, sell and trade. He never met a stranger and was well liked by most everyone. If you knew him, you have heard “he can sell anything”. He was the owner of Walker’s Grocery on Old Forge Road for many years. He also established and owned Pigg River Trophy Trout where he enjoyed stocking trout for fishermen like himself. He attended Evangelistic House of Prayer where he played bass guitar and was a church trustee. He loved his church family deeply. Preceding him in death were is father, Floyd Wagoner; special grandmothers, Siller Boyd Wagoner and Victoria Bowling; aunts and uncles. Ed is survived by his wife Diann; son Sam, daughter- in-law, Leah; mother Glendola Midkiff, step-father Richard Midkiff; brothers, Leon, Cedric (Deborah), Thurman (Thanhha); sister, Audrey Scott (Anthony) plus aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many cherished friends. Interment will follow in Endicott Hill Cemetery.3 He was buried at Endicott Hill Cemetery, Ferrum, Franklin Co., Virginia.3 He was born on October 15, 1946 at Franklin Co., Virginia.3,4 He married Martha Diann Richards, daughter of Bernice Raymond "Bunn" Richards and Dorothy Gay Radford, on October 1, 1965 at Franklin Co., Virginia.1,2 Edward Green "Ed" Wagoner died on August 17, 2014 at Virginia at age 67.3
