     Lenore Katherine Becker was buried at Nelson Cemetery, Nelson, Nuckolls Co., Nebraska.^1,2 She Lenore Katherine (Becker) Eckles, the daughter of William and Elizabeth Margaret (Kelly) Becker was born September 11, 1925 on their farm by Geneva, Nebraska.
She passed away December 23, 2005 at the Nelson Good Samaritan Center in Nelson, Nebraska at the age of 80 years, 3 months and 12 days. Lenore attended District 68 and 24 schools in Fillmore County. Her family moved to Exeter, Nebraska in 1937, where she graduated from Exeter High School in 1942. After graduation she worked at the Fairmont Air Base. While living in Fairmont, she met her future husband Phillip Eckles while he was working on a construction crew with Lincoln Telephone and Telegraph Company. Lenore and Phillip were married at St Stephen's Catholic Church in Exeter Nebraska on October 20, 1945. They made their home in Hastings, Nebraska, where their son William Richard (Dick) was born on December 6, 1946. They subsequently lived in Tecumseh, Edgar, Sutton and Nelson, where they have lived since 1965. Lenore was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Elaine Gulbrandsen. She is survived by her husband Phillip and son Dick and wife Carol of Nelson, Nebraska, grandchildren Sarah Eckles and Daniel Eckles of Lincoln, Nebraska, SSgt Julia Merrill of Ramstein AFB, Germany and her husband SSgt James Merrill of Spangdahlem AFB, Germany. She is also survived by her sister Jean Volkmer and brother Bill Becker of Exeter, Nebraska, and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were John Hassler, Tom Hassler, Bill McCutchan, Bob Eckles, Bob Becker and Bill Volkmer.      Rev. Howard Hoover Olive Jr. was buried at Mount Hope Cemetery, Myerstown, Lebanon Co., Pennsylvania.⁴ He was born on October 18, 1931 at Roanoke, Virginia.^1,2,3,4 He married Audrey Jeanette Eggleston, daughter of Jesse Dillard Eggleston and Dora Grace Wimmer, on June 25, 1954 at Roanoke, Virginia.^1,3 Rev. Howard Hoover Olive Jr. died on October 9, 2018 at Palmyra, Lebanon Co., Pennsylvania, at age 86.^3,4 He The Reverend Howard Hoover "Bud" Olive, Jr., 86, of Lebanon, died October 9th, 2018 at Londonderry Village, Palmyra, PA after a long illness. Bud is survived by his wife of 64 years, Audrey Jeanette (Eggleston) Olive and his children, Paul D. Olive of Robesonia, PA, Pamela J. Gold of Salem, VA, David H. Olive husband of Sherri Baum Olive of Lebanon, PA and three grandsons, Dalton Olive, Dillon Olive and Christian Gold. A brother, John Olive, of Georgia and a sister, Carolyn Shepherd of New Jersey are his surviving siblings. Bud was born in Roanoke, VA October 18, 1931, where he grew up and later married. He moved to NY and graduated with a B.A. from Nyack College in 1957. He worked as a youth pastor and as an assistant to the pastor at the First Baptist Church in Patchogue, Long Island, NY. He was ordained during his time at First Baptist Church. Bud then spent 4 years with the New York Intl. Bible Society in an outreach ministry. His contact with people of the Jewish faith led he and Jeanette to join Message to Israel. When Message to Israel merged with The Bible Christian Union, the Olives moved from New York to Lebanon, PA where Bud continued his ministry and served as a deacon at Faith Baptist Church. After his retirement, he continued serving the Lord by volunteering as a chaplain at Good Samaritan Hospital. Bud was a faithful servant of the Lord, with a giving heart and a passion for ministering to all. His good works are a legacy left in the hearts of those he led to Christ by his example with kindness, guidance, faithfulness, and humbleness. Interment will be at Kimmerlings Cemetery, Lebanon. on October 10, 2018.³
