David was the former owner and operator of Save-A-Lot Paving and Sealing in Wytheville, VA. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by his wife, Mary Small of Princeton; two brothers, Mark Christian and wife Sharon and Timmy Christian and companion Debbie Bailey all of Princeton; mother-in-law, Darla Small of Princeton; sisters-in –law, Marcella Whittaker of Johnson City, TN, Tina Hypes, and Teresa Staab, both of Wytheville, VA; brothers-in law, Frank Small of Knoxville, TN and Tommy Lankford of Bluefield, WV; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Burial will follow at Honaker Cemetery in Princeton. Survivors include her second husband of twenty six years, Ralph Hall of Rock; one daughter, Terri Fritz of Princeton; two grandchildren, Megan Leanne Fritz and Robert Fritz both of Rock; one brother, Don Graham and wife Delores of Toledo, OH; and three sisters, Gertrude Staples and husband Eugene of Matoaka, Norma Burton and husband Bobby of Princeton, and Mozelle Gillespie and husband Bobby of Hiawatha.      Bertie Leora Brown Bertie “Leora” Hall, Jun 20, 1932 - Mar 18, 2022. Surrounded by loved ones Leora Hall, 89 of Oakvale, WV shed her earthly body and went to her eternal home on Friday March 18. Awaiting her arrival were her parents Dixie and Annie (Hill) Brown and her son Roger Dale Hall. Leora was a graduate of the 1950 class of Oakvale High School, a member of East River Baptist Church and at one time was employed as a Teacher’s assistant. She lived a full and active life raising children and grandchildren, enjoying the outdoors, traveling, camping, gardening, trapping and especially enjoyed riding ATVs in her later years. Left to cherish her memory, are her husband of 72 years Dan Hall, five children, Brenda Helton (Mike), Kenneth Hall (Linda), Keith Hall (Diana), Teresa Martin (David), Kathy Kelley (Brad), 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.      Della Mae Wyse Della Mae Lail Crigger, June 28, 1959 - October 10, 2020. Della Mae Lail Crigger, 61 of Bluefield, VA, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Born in Dunkirk, NY, she was the daughter of the late Phillip Daniel Wyse and Eara Mae Sipp Crigger. Della enjoyed wood working, drawing, taking pictures, crocheting, scrapbooking and being outside in nature. She truly had a servant’s heart. Working as a nurse, she loved her profession and taking care of others. She had the prettiest blue eyes, the biggest heart and the most beautiful smile. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son: Eric Lail; her sister: Cindy Lail. She will be missed by her husband: Frank N. Crigger of Bluefield, VA; son: Joseph Keith Lail and wife, Rebecca of Princeton, WV; siblings: Cathy Agee and husband, David of Hardy, VA, Beverly Roberts and husband, Russel of Bluewell, WV, Daniel Wyse and wife, Vicki of Bluewell, WV and Jacob Crigger and wife, Michele of Falls Mills, VA; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, she is survived by one son, Malcomb; one brother, Ray Elmore of Dearborn Heights, Mich; two sisters, Mrs. Peggy Krick of Canton, Ohio, and Mrs. Betty Treadway of Cranberry; and one grandchild. on August 2, 1977.¹
