     Roger N. Jordan was buried at Mahomet Cemetery, Mahomet, Burnet Co., Texas.3,2 He Funeral services for Roger N. Jordan, 67, of Lufkin, will be held Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Brother Bill Atchison officiating. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 17, 2011 in the Mahomet Cemetery in Burnet County. Mr. Jordan was born November 10, 1943 in Everett, Washington to the late Jessie Ioma (Franks) and Paul Lester Jordan. Married Linda Sue Downing - September 17, 1966. He died Sunday, February 13, 2011 in a Lufkin hospital. Mr. Jordan had resided in Lufkin for the past 11 years, and previously lived in Baytown for 34 years. He was a retired First Line Supervisor for Exxon Refinery following 33 years of service. Mr. Jordan loved to rebuild cars, and he had just completed building his dream cars, a 1932 Deuce Ford Roadster, a 1928 Chevy farm truck, and a 1939 Pontiac 2-door sedan. He was a United States Air Force veteran. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Linda Downing Jordan of Lufkin; daughters and sons-in-law, Ginger Sue and Brian Opanowitz of Willis, Texas; Sharon Elizabeth and Tony Richards of Huntington, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher Paul and Thasha Barefoot Jordan of Humble, Texas; grandchildren, Aaron Michael DeNamur (son of Ginger) of Herriman, Utah; Katelyn Elise Opanowitz of Allen, Texas; Dalton Lee Richards and Ryleigh Elizabeth Richards, both of Huntington,Texas; Jaycee Lynn Jordan and Brayden Paul Jordan, both of Humble, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmie and B.J. Jordan of Arkansas; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Jordan was also preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Jean Jordan and Betty A Jordan Crider, brother, David Lee Jordan; mother-in-law, Bonnie Williams Downing; and sister-in-law, Janice Kay Downing Tate. Pallbearers will be Butch Vinson, William Rowe, Terry Downing, Dale Swinney Clem, Tony Richards, Brian Opanowitz, Ronnie Wayne Downing, Jr., and Mark Vinson.3 He was born on November 10, 1943 at Everett, Snohomish Co., Washington.2,3 He married Linda Sue Downing, daughter of Thurl Edison Downing and Bonnie Laverne Williams, on September 17, 1966.1,4,2,3 Roger N.      Ronald Layton Clem was buried at Brazoria Cemetery, Brazoria, Brazoria Co., Texas.1,2 He married Carletta Joyce Downing, daughter of Thurl Edison Downing and Bonnie Laverne Williams.3 Ronald Layton Clem was born on January 11, 1940 at Mount Pleasant, Titus Co., Texas.1,2 He died on September 24, 2013 at Houston, Harris Co., Texas, at age 73.1,2 He Ronald Layton Clem - Ron Clem, 73, loving husband, father and papa was born January 11, 1940 in Mt. Pleasant TX to Beatrice and Gerald Clem. He had two brothers, Bubba and Connie and three sisters, Geraldine, Arlene and Shirley. Ron passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Kindred Hospital in Houston TX surrounded by love and family. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Geraldine and Arlene. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Colene Clem, 7 children, Vickie Rabren and her husband Marcus of Brazoria TX, Julie Rhoades and her husband James of Wild Peach TX, Gina Jay of Huntsville TX, Dale Clem and his fiancée Dana of Houston TX, Lisa Jo Myers and her husband Alan of Brazoria TX, Sandra Clem of Baytown TX and Lisa Nelson and her husband Bubba of Livingston TX, 16 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren, brother Connie Clem and wife Billie of Lake Jackson TX, Bubba Clem of Cushing TX and Shirley and her husband Jim Marshall of Tyler TX. He was blessed with numerous nieces and nephews and many, many friends. He married Colene Clem and moved to Brazoria in 1970. He was a former member of the Brazoria City Council and he retired in 1998 after 18 years from the Brazoria Volunteer Fire Department. He was an Interstate Truck Driver for 30 years. He owned and operated Ron's Sand Pit for seven years and he retired in 2009 from the Brazoria County Pct. 4 Road and Bridge Department. He loved to fish with his good friends Chuck Taylor and Glenn Tollett. He loved traveling with his wife. And he loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren immensely. Pallbearers include grandsons Brandon Losack, Dylan Clem, honorary grandson Justin Taylor, nephew J.D. Blanton and friends Glenn Tollett and Randy Harang. Services will be Friday, September 27, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria. The service will be officiated by his nephew, Jimmy Clem of Colorado, Springs, Colorado. Burial will follow at Brazoria Cemetery in Brazoria, TX. on September 25, 2013.2
