The following is an obituary that was read at the funeral held on Wednesday. Little Marjorie Ellen, twin daughter of Benna and Alma Middaugh was born in Lawrence County, Illinois, February 25, 1907 and died June 16, 1909, agee two years, four months, and 27 days. Marjorie was a bright little jewel and will be greatly missed in the home. While we cannot understand why our loved one was taken from us, yet we are willing to submit to our heavenly father knowing he doeth us all things well. A kind and loving mother, a loving father, two sisters, other relatives and a host of friends are left to mourn their their loss. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. C. A. Hall, Friday afternoon June 18th at the residence, after which the little body was laid to rest in the cemetery at White House. on June 24, 1909.²

Stevenson. He survives. Stevenson worked in the shipping department at Alison Division of General Motors for 31 years, retiring in 1980. Survivors include two stepsons, Dennis Stevenson of Hazelwood and David M. Stevenson of Stilesville; five step-grandchildren and several-step-great-grandchildren.
