     Cecil Roberson Hawley married Audrey Isabell Hoback, daughter of Daniel E. Hoback and Eva Frances Gearheart.⁵ Cecil Roberson Hawley was born on December 23, 1900 at Bluefield, Mercer Co., West Virginia.² He died on February 10, 1972 at Bluefield, Mercer Co., West Virginia, at age 71.^3,4 He Cecil Roberson Hawley, 71, of 509 Parkway, Bluefield, was dead on arrival at a Bluefield hospital Thursday afternoon following a long illness. Born in Raleigh County, he was a son of the late Milton A. and Celia Davis Hawley. He was a retired welder foreman for the Norfolk and Western Railway. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Willie Vincill Hawley; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Sanders of Baltimore, Md; one son, Milton C. Hawley, address unknown; one step-son, Harvey George White of Beckley; one halfsister, Mrs. Glen Trosper of Freeport, Grand Bahamas; one half brother, Weston Willis of Bluefield; and seven grandchildren. on February 11, 1972.⁴

     Hugh Ritchie Morgan Jr. was buried at Maple Hill Cemetery, Bluefield, Tazewell Co., Virginia.^3,2 He Hugh R. Morgan Jr., 67, of Flagler Beach, Fla., formerly of Bluefield, died Saturday morning at a Bunnell, Fla., hospital, following an apparent heart attack. Born in Charleston, he graduated from Graham High School in 1932. He was a lieutenant assistant to U.S. Navy Admiral Nimitz at the Pentagon in Washington, D C., during World War II and saw action in the European Theater. He received a B.A. degree in education at Emory & Henry College in Emory, Va. He studied at Northwestern University and received a master's degree in education at the University of Virginia. He taught science and coached sports for 17 years at Richlands High School and was principal for 11 years at Cleveland High School in Cleveland, Va., and was principal at Inverness High School in Crystal River, Va., before moving to Bunnell to become general supervisor of the Flagler County School System. He was principal at Bunnell Elementary School in 1972-73. Morgan remained in school administration until 1979 when he began teaching science at Flagler-Palm Coast High School. He also was a corresponding sportswriter and photographer for the Daytona Beach New Journal-Palm Coast News for ten years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Frances Hoback Morgan: his mother, Ima W. Morgan of Bluefield, Va; one daughter, Melissa Morgan of Deland, Fla; one son, Marshall Morgan of Gainesville, Fla; five sisters, Mrs. Ben Bates of Baltimore, Md., Mrs. Robert Nelson of Panama City, Fla; Mrs. W.D. Clinton of Parkersburg; Mrs. Scott Lilly Jr. of Bluefield, Va., and Mrs. Bruce Palmar of Muskogee, Okla; and one brother, Amick Morgan of Welch. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church in Bluefield, Va., with Rev. Don Scott officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be members of the Bluefield, Va., VFW.² He married Frances E.
