Born Feb. 19, 1963, at Oak Hill, she was the daughter of Cora Mae Massey West of Pea Ridge, Oak Hill, and the late Robert William "Bill" West. Mickie was a former CNA who continued throughout her life to give love and care to her family and friends. Those who knew her knew she was a truly loving and generous hearted person who will be dearly remembered and sadly missed. A sister, Janet Lee West preceded her in death. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Paul Zachary West of Atlanta, Ga. and her daughter, Jenna Marie Beauchemin and husband, Brandon of New York; her companion of over 20 years, C.L. Craft Jr; two sisters, Carol Day and husband, Mike of Radford, Va. and Kathy Bragg and husband, Mick of Fayetteville, and a brother, James West an wife, Cindy of Beckley. Her grandchildren, Haylee Naylor, Urijiah Beauchemin and Zayne Beauchemin and nephews and nieces, Levi and Katlyn Day, Brandon and Ben Bragg and Hannah West also survive. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2012, at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, with Preacher Mark Secrist officiating. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill. on July 6, 2012.3

June was a graduate of Morris Harvey College, received her Master's from Columbia University in New York City, and was a professor at Morris Harvey College and a member of Boyd Memorial Christian Church. She enjoyed art, painting, pottery, playing the organ and singing in the choir. June is survived by two children and their spouses, Patrick and Eleanor Hamilton of Columbia, Md., and Lynn and Gary Patrick of South Charleston. Also surviving are grandchildren, Jason Hamilton, Robin Holtman, Bethany Hamilton and Aaron Patrick. Don W. Hamilton preceded his wife in passing. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, at Wilson Funeral Home, Charleston. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park. on November 22, 2006.5
