     Mattie Mae Hannah Mattie Mae Weaver Saxton, 85, of South Charleston, passed away Friday, December 28, 2012, at Thomas Memorial Hospital. She was a former surgical technician for Southern Hills Hospital and later for Pick Memorial Hospital. Mattie was a longtime member of the Southwest Church of God. She was a native of Fayette County. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Russell Thomas Weaver, son, Dennis Ray Weaver, granddaughter, Allison Weaver, grandson, Brian Lee Weaver, brothers, Everett and Sherman Hannah and sisters, Eva Shawkey and Norma McMillion. Surviving are her sons, Russell T. Weaver of Hurricane and Richard Weaver of South Charleston; sisters, Virginia Dragony of Cleveland, Ohio and Mary Gee of Kincaid. Also surviving are grandchildren, Russell Alan Weaver, Richard Chad Weaver, Matthew Thomas Weaver, Alex Cameron Weaver and Austin Lee Weaver and great grandchildren, Chase and Chance Weaver. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 3, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Dr. Larry McCallister officiating.
