Holly was born in San Francisco, on Jan. 17, 1954. After living in California, and Hong Kong, she graduated from Summit High in "73, and Wesley College in "76. Holly spent her life expressing the love of Jesus to as many people as she could, in as many ways as she could. She lived in Morristown for many years prior to her death. She had a love of reading the Bible, singing, and brightening people's lives. Holly is survived by her mother, Virginia C. Fox of Summit; siblings, Lee and Debbie Fox of Virginia, and John and Linda Fox of Connecticut; nieces Heather Yarbrough, Jennifer Sharman, and Alyssa Fox; nephews, David and Eric Fox; and five great-nieces, and one great-nephew. on May 31, 2010.⁴

     Lotis T. "Lotus" Mays Lotus T. Canaday, 71, of Charleston, passed away on April 28, 2008, at home after a long illness. She was born June 9, 1936, in Covel, Wyoming County, to the late Logan and Mae Thomas Mays. Lotus was the former owner of Empress Beauty Salon, an employee of Osborne's Beauty Salon, a member of the American Business Women's Association where she received "Boss of the Year," and a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Kanawha City. She is survived by daughter, Anita Mae Ferrell at home; son, Paul Canaday and his wife, Lea Vada, of Charleston; sister, Billie McKinney of Pineville; brother, Blaine Mays of Pompano Beach, Fla; grandchildren, Fawnia Canaday, Kama Holley, Anna Ferrell and Brad Cooper; and great-grandson, Val-Zavier Kane Holley, all of Charleston. At Lotus's request, there will be no visitation or service.
