Born on October 7, 1920 in Amherst, Virginia, he was the son of the late Charles Clements and Dora Duff Clements. Chuck was a World War II Veteran and worked for Southern Railroad for over 40 years. Survived by his daughter Barbara Clements Layne of Lynchburg, Virginia, stepdaughters, Holly, Jean, Connie and Faye, 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Teresa Clements, 2 brothers, Alan and Elmer Clements, 2 sisters, Wynell Davis and Zelda Clements and son Charles "Billy" Clements. He was born in Mt. Sidney, VA, the son of the late Virgil Lamar Wheelbarger and the late Nina Whitmore Wheelbarger. Mr. Wheelbarger served his country in the Army Air Force and was stationed at Hickam Field, HI during World War II. He was retired from Bethlehem Steel Company.
