She is survived by her son Joseph Elmore of Albuquerque; sister Chiku Iumi of Japan, and other extended family in Japan. She met and married her husband Acey Elmore when he was stationed in Japan with the Air Force. Sae enjoyed sewing, gardening and watching the Japanese channel on TV. She was a beloved wife and mother and will be deeply missed. Cremation has taken place and she will be placed with her husband of 40 years at Santa Fe National Cemetery. on May 3, 2015.²
