He was preceded in death by his father, Trig Ingle Shealor. Gary is survived by his wife of 47 years, Katherine Richards Shealor; his mother, Ruby Hutchens Shealor; brother, Steve Shealor; daughters, Melissa Shealor Morris and husband, Brian, of Kodak, Tenn., Cynthia Shealor Wickline of Roanoke, Va; grandsons, Matthew Tucker, Cole Wickline and Julian Morgan; one great-granddaughter, Emalia Tucker; as well as many other friends and relatives. He also leaves behind his cat, Miss Kitty. Gary worked for Save-A-Stop; worked as a painter; and then later retired from Advance Auto Parts. He lived a simple life, enjoyed spending time with his family, going to car shows, working on his home projects and sometimes just relaxing in his recliner while watching television. We would like to offer a special thanks to Heartland Hospice Care for all of their help and support; as well as special friends, Pam English and Kathy Webster. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. on October 19, 2016.2
