She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Clarion. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Scott (Linda) Mineker of Old Forge, New York, and a brother, Carter Bigley of Brockport, New York. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles E. Bigley, Jr. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Goble Funeral Home in Clarion. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Arnold Rhoades, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Clarion, will officiate. Mr. Dillion served in World War II as a first sergeant in the 543rd Eng. Boat and Shore Regiment, spending time in the South Pacific and Japan. He was awarded the American Theater Ribbon, the Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon with three Bronze Stars, Philippine Liberation Ribbons with one Bronze Star, the Good Conduct Ribbon, the Victory Medal and Bronze Star Medal. He retired from Owens-Illinois Glass Co. in Clarion as the production manager, serving 47 years, and then worked nine and one-half years for Owens-Illinois in Bridgeton, N.J.
Mr. Dillion was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Clarion. He was married Aug. 15, 1942, to the former Nancy Bigley, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Scott Minekar of Fulton, N.J. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dillion was preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas Dillion, Robert Dillion and Jerome Dillion; and two sisters, Mary Durso and Margaret Kelly. Interment will be in Clarion Cemetery. on February 19, 2001.2

Born in Sligo on 2/14/25, she was the daughter of the late D.J. Myers and Dorothy Platte Myers. Evelyn, also known as Tot to her family, was always busy, taking care of her home and cooking up delicious desserts, which she would often take to friends and neighbors. She loved her family, crossword puzzles and writing letters to everyone she knew. She was a Clarion High School graduate. She was a retiree of Owens Illinois in Clarion and a member of Grace Community Church in Curllsville. Evelyn always had a bright smile for everyone and never met a stranger. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by a son, Charles E. Bigley lll of Sligo, a daughter, Sue Zanne Bigley of Houston, TX, a brother, Fred Myers of Sligo, four sisters, Joy Wagner of Tionesta, Rosalind Nelson of Eire, Nellie Arner and Jennie Ditty of Rimersburg, three grandchildren, Teanna Bigley of Knox, Lisa Evans of Hamlet, NC, Lori Hiles of Sligo and two great grandchildren, Karlin and Kaylee Hiles of Sligo. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three infant brothers and two brothers, Daniel and Bill. Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 7-9 at the Goble Funeral Home & Cremation in Clarion and from 10:00 AM till time of services at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at the Grace Community Church in Curllsville with Pastor Dan George officiating. Interment will follow in the Scotch Hill Cemetery. on July 2, 2012.1

Bigley died on November 9, 2005 at Clarion, Clarion Co., Pennsylvania, at age 61.4,3,5,8 He Michael Bigley, 61, of North Third Avenue, Clarion, died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2005, in Clarion Hospital. Born July 6, 1944, in Oil City, he was the son of Geary and Betty Gilmore Bigley. Mr. Bigley was a 20-year veteran of the Air Force and retired in 1987 as a technical sergeant. He was a Vietnam veteran. In 2005 he was commander of the American Legion Post in Clarion. Mr. Bigley lived from 1983 to 2002 in Germany where he met his wife, Gabriele, in 1984. He was a successful head coach for several American football clubs in Germany form 1983 to 1995. He last was employed as a driver for Clarion County and was known as a reliable, responsible person. Besides football, Mr. Bigley enjoyed garden work, fishing, aquariums, bowling and traveling. He was married in Las Vegas, Nev., Oct. 15, l993, to Gabriele Marie Damm,who survives. Also surviving are his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gertrud Damm and Peter Damm, both of Germany; a daughter, Linn L. Lauer and husband, Mark J., of DuBois; one grandson, Phillip R. Lauer of DuBois; and an adopted daughter, Huicha Park of San Antonio, Texas. He also is survived by a brother, Richard D. Bigley and wife, Beverly E., of Bethany Beach, Del; two nieces; and several cousins. Mr. Bigley was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Sonya L. Bigley. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, in the Goble Funeral Home of Clarion. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the funeral home with the Rev. Donald Bordenaro officiating. Full military honors will be accorded by the American Legion Clarion Post No. 66 at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Clarion Cemetery. on November 10, 2005.3

She was born June 6, 1972 at Little Rock Air Force Base Hospital, a daughter of Michael K. and Yang Sun Pah Bigley. She had been christened in the Catholic Church. Surviving along with her parents are two sisters, Linn Lee and Hue Cha Bigley at home, paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Geary Bigley of Clarion, maternal grandmother, Mun Cheog Ae of Korea, and a number of other relatives in the Clarion area. Friends may call after 2 pm Wednesday at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Wednesday and Thursday. Mass of the Angels will be celebrated at 9 am Friday in the Immaculate Conception Church at Clarion with the pastor, Rev. John Kuzilla as celebrant. Interment will be in the Clarion Cemetery. on December 30, 1975.2
