His Social Security Number was 261-46-4906.2 Donald Bash "Don" Hall was buried at Georgia Memorial Park, 2000 Cobb Parkway SE, Marietta, Cobb Co., Georgia.3 He was born on April 26, 1935 at Atlanta, Fulton Co., Georgia.2 He married Nancy Unknown circa 1960.3 Donald Bash "Don" Hall died on October 12, 2006 at Commerce, Habersham Co., Georgia, at age 71.2,3 He Donald B. Hall, age 71, of Commerce, formerly of Smyrna, GA, went home to his Lord, Jesus Christ, October 12, 2006. His endearing wife of 46 years, Nancy was at his side as he passed to his heavenly Father's arms. As a member of Rogers Baptist Church in Commerce, Mr. Hall found acceptance, friendship, and comfort from his church family and received great joy from his participation as a choir member, youth children's bus driver and faithful servant. His deep, resonant, baritone voice was enjoyed by the Rogers congregation in both song and recitation. Although cut short by sudden health changes in 2000, Mr. Hall's professional career as a HVAC tube analyst was widely respected and utilized, nationally and internationally, in the energy management industry. His unique and trusted diagnostic skills were provided through his and Nancy's company, Independent Analysis, Inc., and previous employers; York Services, Natkin Service Co., and Servidyne, Inc. He was known truly as a man whose word was his bond. Mr. Hall was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1935 and spent his teen and young adult years in Smyrna, GA. He was a graduate of ICT and DeVry Technical Institute and served his country honorably as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany, where he was in charge of the motor pool. Mr. Hall was a Civil War history enthusiast who read and studied extensively, both through onsite observation and through his vast book collection. His description of battlefield action regaled the listener with vivid detail that brought stale, school book lessons to life; you smelled the smoke, heard the cries. He will always be remembered as a man of honor, kindness and caring spirit. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 14, 2006, at 1 PM, in the sanctuary of Rogers Baptist Church in Commerce, GA with Rev. Carlton Peters and Rev. Johnny Thompson officiating. Entombment will be at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery, Smyrna, GA. Mr. Hall is preceded in death by his son, Donald B. "Chip" Hall, Jr., his father and mother, John Hamilton Hall and Sara Louise Alexander Hall, his brothers John Michael Hall and Terry Dean Hall. He is survived by his devoted wife, Nancy, and several nieces and nephews. on October 13, 2006.3
