Doris Dr., passed away Saturday morning at Greene Memorial Hospital, Xenia, Ohio. He was retired from WPAFB, where he had worked for 29 years. He is survived by his wife, Helen; 1 son, Ferdie Williams, of Hannibal, Mo; 4 daughters, Mrs. Mary A. McNeely, of Lomlta, Calif., Mrs. Naomi Ennis, of Xenia, Helen Fltzpatrick, Fort Smith, Ark., Barbara Rowe, of New Carlisle; 2 sisters, Nellie McFadden, of Dayton, Virginia Edgington, Miami, Florida; 1 brother, Herbert Williams, of Dayton; 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren. Funeral Tuesday, 1 p.m., at Burcham Funeral Home, Fairborn. Burial will be in Byron Cemetery. on November 14, 1976.⁴

Williams, 73, of Hannibal, passed away at 5 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010, at his home after a short battle with lung cancer. There will be no services at this time. Mr. Williams will be cremated in accordance with his wishes. Mr. Williams was born July 3, 1936, in Dayton, Ohio, to Frank and Helen Mae Eldred Williams. He was married to Bonnie L. Floyd on Oct. 17, 1964, in Dayton, Ohio. She survives. Other survivors include two children, Frank Williams (Julie) of Texas, and Jackie Dryden (Gary) of Hannibal, Mo; three sisters, Mary Ann McNeely of California, Helen Fitzpatrick (Roy) of Columbus, Ohio, and Barbara Rowe of Fairborn, Ohio; four grandchildren, Scott Williams, Travis Williams, Jennifer Desmond (Joe) and Brady Dryden; five great-grandchildren, Heaven Tallman, Faith Tallman, Kaleb Tallman, Kyra Dryden and Olivia Markham; special friends, Charles Huston Sr., Pete Pope and Kaleb Tallman; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one infant brother, Bobby; one sister, Norma Ennis; and thre brothers-in-law; Jack Ennis, Donald McNeely and John Rowe. Mr. Williams graduated from Fairborn, Ohio, High School. He retired in 1999 from Continental Cement. Ferdie loved yard work, especially when working with his great grandson, Kaleb. Mr. Williams was a past member of the Gold Prospectors Club and Elks Lodge 1198 of Hannibal, Mo. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Roland Glenn Eldred. Vivian is survived by her daughter, Tina R. Eldred, died Tuesday morning at her residence in Altoona. She had been ill for five months and three months ago underwent on operation in the Altoona Hospital. She was aged 50 years. Mrs. Eldred was born and reared in Castanea where she resided until 1902. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, a son and a daughter Donald and Dorothy, both at home; her mother, Mrs. W. Richard Harvey, of Castanea, and two brothers and one sister, Charles B. Harvey, Castanea; Frank E Harvey, this city, and Mrs. E. J. Fox, Cleveland, O. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock at the Church of Christ, Altoona. The body was shipped to Mill Hall, arriving there this morning, and was taken directly to Cedar Hill cemetery for interment. on February 24, 1928.⁵

     Dorothy Carolyn Eldred was buried at Rolling Green Memorial Park, 1811 Carlisle Road, Camp Hill, Cumberland Co., Pennsylvania.⁵ She was born on December 13, 1909 at Altoona, Blair Co., Pennsylvania.² As of 1928,her married name was Atkinson.² She married Clair William Atkinson in 1928.^6,2 Dorothy Carolyn Eldred died on June 25, 2012 at York, York Co., Pennsylvania, at age 102.² She Dorothy Carolyn Atkinson of York, died June 25, 2012 at The Brunswick at Longstown, York, PA.She was born December 13, 1909 in Altoona, PA, the daughter of the late George B. Eldred and the late Carrie H. Eldred. In addition to her parents, her brother Donald Eldred preceded her death in 1961, her husband Clair W. Atkinson in 1969, and her daughter Carolyn Ellen Hill in 2000. Dorothy Eldred Atkinson graduated in 1927 from Altoona High School and later attended the Pennsylvania Business School. She worked in attorney Foster Mecki's office until she was married in 1928. She later worked for the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry for 18 years. She was a faithful member of The First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Altoona, Williamsport, and Lemoyne, PA. Dorothy was a Life Member of the Eastern Star No. 65 in Altoona, PA. She was a member of the National and Camp Hill Order of AARP and also a member of PARSE. Surviving are her son, Eldred W. Atkinson, granddaughters Lynda Kleman, Nancy Larson, and Amy Hester; grandson Douglas Atkinson; great granddaughters Jaime Butler, Carrie Bailey, Kelly Hester and Evelyn Atkinson; great grandsons Daniel and Michael Hester, G. Richard Larson, Jr. and Carter William Eldred Atkinson; and great great grandson Bodie Butler. Dorothy said her only claim to fame was converting a Chinaman to Christianity and serving for 75 years as a Sunday school pianist. on July 22, 2012.²
