Born in Bethesda, Md., on July 28, 1949, she was the daughter of Audrey K. Rudisill of Gettysburg, and the late John C. Dick. Nila was employed for the past 34 years in the accounting department of the Federal Communications Commission's Gettysburg Center. She was a member of the Gettysburg Church of the Nazarene. In addition to her mother, Nila is survived by her husband of 42 years, William J. Pritt; a daughter, Carla C. Smith and husband John of Orrtanna; three sons, William C. Pritt and wife Pam of Biglerville, Abe D. Pritt and wife Jo of Gardners, and Zane U. Pritt and wife Melissa of Biglerville; ten grandchildren, Jerica, Shyann, Mercedes, William II, Myranda, Mariya, Matthew, Bella, Tuff, and Victoria; and five great grandchildren, Jaydin, Josiah, Brooke, Cristina and Harper. She also leaves behind her three brothers, John C. Dick of Hanover, David L. Dick of Fairfield and William R. Dick of Aspers; two sisters, Linda D. Strausbaugh of Biglerville, and Lori J. Lagares of Kansas; four step-brothers, William Rudisill of York Springs, James Rudisill of Gettysburg, Brian Rudisill of Arendtsville, and Tim Rudisill of Heidlersburg, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 23, at 10 a.m. from the Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg, with the Rev. Clyde Osterhost, officiating. Burial will be in the Wenksville Cemetery, Wenksville. on November 21, 2013.2

Lewis, 87, Bloomsburg, formerly of Ulysses, died Sunday (June 9, 1968) in Bloomsburg Hospital of complications following a lengthy illness. He was born in Ulysses, March 15, 1881, a son of the late C. A. and Kate Cushing Lewis. Mr. Lewis attended schools in Ulysses and Coudersport and was graduated from Peddie School, Hightstown, N.J., in 1903, and attended Brown and Cornell Universities. Although he worked in the Auditor General's office in Harrisburg, he later returned to Potter County to raise seed potatoes. During WWI, Mr. Lewis was an inspector for the U.S. Navy at the A.C. and F. at Berwick, Pa. Later he helped organize the Central Forging Co. of Catawissa which subsequently became the Maxi Manufacturing Co., and Catawissa Valve and Fitting Co. He served as sales manager. Failing health forced him to retire in 1953. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Bloomsburg in which he was ruling elder. He was a member of Ulysses Lodge, F.&.A.M., 32nd degree Mason of Bloomsburg Scottish Rite Lodge, and charter and life member of the Lion's Club. Mr. Lewis and his wife, the former Winifred Beckley, had been married 55 years. Surviving besides his wife are a son, George, Natchitoches, La; a daughter, Mrs. Eugenie Swisher, New Cumberland; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 12. Interment was in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy. on June 19, 1968.2

Mrs. Harry Beckley, a sister-in-law of Frank Beckley, is in the hospital also with typhoid fever. She has not been told of his death and does not know that she has the same disease that he had. Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock from his home, 218 Hamilton street, conducted by the Rev. B. H. Hart. The body will be taken to Bloomsburg by C. H. Mauk, where interment will be made. on September 30, 1909.2
