     Reba Louise Sizemore was buried at Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.^6,5 She Reba Louise Blevins, beloved mother of four and longtime Beckley resident, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at the age of 81. She was born in Matoaka, West Virginia, on December 2, 1937, and attended Sophia High School and Beckley College. She was known for her caring, generous heart and cheerful demeanor, and she was a Christian whose faith increased with age. She was a Delegate to the 1980 Democratic National Convention and was Sweetheart of Beta Sigma Phi. Reba was also respected for her work ethic. Her long, diverse work history included photographer at Stuart Photography, Salesperson at Rahall's on Main Street, Manager of Harvey's Fashions and Pikeview Manor Apartments, as well as Counter Manager of Estée Lauder at Elder Beerman Department Store. She was preceded in passing by her parents, William Clifton Sizemore and Wanda Leona Lawrence, brother Jack Russell Sizemore, and sister Wanda Joyce Pender. She will be lovingly remembered by her four children and their spouses: Gerald (Tabitha) Blevins of Elkhart, Texas; Rev. Gregory (Sarah) Blevins of Clarksburg, West Virginia; Brenda (Randy) Marion of Peachtree City, Georgia; and Timothy (Kaye) Blevins of Santa Fe, New Mexico; and her eight grandchildren: John Blevins, Susan Blevins, Spencer Marion, Thomas Marion, Simon Blevins, Sophia Blevins, Stephen Maxfield, and Patrick Maxfield. She was also a cherished matriarch to her large extended family of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 14, 2019, at 1:00 pm at Calfee Funeral Home, 800 S. Oakwood Ave., Beckley, WV, with Rev. Gregory Blevins officiating. Other survivors include a son, Jack Russell Sizemore II of Sandstone; five daughters, Mrs. Randall (Jaccqueline) Ward of Sandstone, Mrs. Hershel (Reba) Grimmett of Sandstone, Joyce Sizemore of Beckley, Mrs. Oscar (Nancy) Gill of Sophia and Melissa Sizemore Bolen of Beckley; a brother, Brian Sizemore and his wife, Talisa of Beckley; a halfbrother, Dale Eugene Sizemore of Indianapolis, Ind; Two Sisters, Reba Blevins of Beaver and Joyce Pender of Miami, Fla; a halfsister, Mrs. Louise (Frances) King of Indianapolis, Ind., and eight grandchildren. Services were held at 1p.m. Wed. Aug 24 at Williams-Blue Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Mark Hunter and Greg D. Blevins officiating. Burial followed in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity.      Hershel Hayward Grimmett was buried at Elk Knob Cemetery, Hinton, Summers Co., West Virginia.^2,3 He was born on March 2, 1949 at Nellis, Boone Co., West Virginia.^2,3,4 As of March 22, 1991, Hershel Hayward Grimmett was also known as Hershel Grimmett.⁴ He married Reba Louise Sizemore, daughter of Jack Russell Sizemore and Hester Marie Lilly, on March 22, 1991 at Pearisburg, Giles Co., Virginia.^5,4,2 Hershel Hayward Grimmett died on August 30, 2012 at Sandstone, Summers Co., West Virginia, at age 63.^2,3 He Hershel Hayward Grimmett, 63 of Sandstone died at 11:40 a.m. Thursday August 30, 2012 at his home. Born March 2, 1949 at Nellis, WV he was the son of Wanda M. Plumley Grimmett and the late Emmerson A. Grimmett. Mr. Grimmett was retired from CSX Transportation Corporation having worked in the Maintenance Department, bridges and buildings. He was a member of Ramp Holiness Church and enjoyed playing music. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife, Reba Sizemore Grimmett. Three sons, Caleb Grimmett at home and Hershel Wayne and Christopher Grimmett, both of Peterstown. Two daughters, Brittany Grimmett at home and Lisa Gill of Peterstown. One brother, Larry Grimmett of Judson. Two sisters, Lois Ward of Wayside and Linda Burdette of Hilldale. Fourteen nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday September 3, 2012 at Elk Knob Baptist Church with Minister Patricia Cales officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday evening at Pivont Funeral Home in Hinton, and one hour prior to services on Monday at the church. Pallbearers will be; Hershel, Christopher and Dakota Grimmett, Michael Bennett, Matt Blankenship and Shannon Akers. on September 4, 2012.²

"Jack" Blevins, 80, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013, in Fayetteville, Ga. Mr. Blevins lived most of his adult life in Dunbar and was a lifelong Christian. Jack was a Korean War veteran who served as a staff sergeant in the 11th Engineer Combat Battalion, Company B "Jungle Cats" in the United States Army from 1950 to 1953. He received the Korean Service Medal with four Bronze Stars, United Nations Service Medal and Meritorious Unit Commendation Medal. Mr. Blevins was a West Virginia State Police trooper from 1955 to 1959, based in South Charleston and Hinton. He then worked at Union Carbide, Institute, for 27 years and retired on December 1, 1986. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey Lee Blevins and Rosa Lee Green Blevins; and a brother, James Odell "Joe" Blevins. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Gerald C. and Tabitha Blevins of Palestine, Texas, and the Rev. Gregory D. and Sarah Blevins of Clarksburg; one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda K. and Randy Marion of Fayetteville, Ga; four grandchildren, John Blevins, Susan Blevins, Spencer Marion and Thomas Marion; three sisters, Irene Ashley and Carol Lee Ashley, both of Bristol, Va., and Delma Kirby of Dunbar; and two brothers, Dwight Blevins and wife, Phyllis, and Kenny Blevins, all of Chilhowie, Va. Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, March 8, at Macedonia Baptist Church, Chilhowie, with Preacher Tim Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. on March 7, 2013.²
