She was a retired expediator with Rockwell International and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Princeton. In addition to her parents, her husband, John Andrew Terry Jr; three brothers, Elmo Robertson, Kenneth Robertson and Marvin Robertson; and one sister, Elizabeth Burguron preceded her in death. Survivors include her loving daughter, Donna Terry Calvert and husband Oakey of Princeton; two granddaughters, Lisa Williams and Julie Jackson; sister, Nancy Mills of Flowery Branch, Ga; sister and best friend. Patty Sells of Princeton; special friends and neighbors, Willis and Bonnie Mathena of Princeton; and faithful companion, Molly (her dog). Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Dr. David Dockery officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. on November 19, 2004.³

     Steven Harold "Wes" Harry Mr. Steve "Wes" Harold Harry, 59, of Sanford, N.C., formerly of Oakvale, W.Va., died Sunday, May 29, 2011, at Firsthealth of the Carolinas in Pinehurst, N.C. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 1, 2011, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Crossroads Church in Broadway, N.C. The funeral service will follow at Crossroads Church at 3:00 p.m. with the Reverend John Sauls officiating. Carol was born on July 11, 1948 in Princeton, WV. She was the daughter of the late Travis Eugene and Juanita Terry Harry. She graduated from Oakvale H.S. Carol worked in the electronics field for over thirty years. She enjoyed traveling, crocheting, and spending time with friends and loved ones. She had the ability to make anyone smile even on the bluest of days; her smile would light up a room. She is survived by her two children, Denita Spriggs of Gaithersburg, MD and Jason Spriggs of Boonsboro, MD, her brothers, Jerry Harry (Deanna) of Athens, WV and Randall Harry of Oakvale, WV, her sisters, Linda Fitzwater, Shirley Neely, and Diana (John) Holdren of Princeton, WV, her four grandchildren, Christopher Spriggs of Frederick, MD, Michelle Spriggs of Boonsboro, MD, Troy Ford, Jr of Gaithersburg, MD, and Tadem, her great granddaughter, Nevaeh, close family friends Trisha Lynch of Damascus, MD and Kelly Medina of Rockville, MD, and special friends Janet and Rick Kendall, Ann (Scooter) Sulkowski, Theonia (Ms. T) Hughley, and Donald L. Simms. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and many loving friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Steve and JR Harry, Nephew, Robbie Fitzwater, and close family friend, Michael W. Hottinger. The family will receive friends at Molesworth - Williams P.A. Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, MD 20872 on Friday, June 23, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 24, at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow in All Souls Cemetery, 11401 Brink Road, Germantown, MD, 20876. on June 20, 2017.²

Born in Mercer County, Aug. 13, 1947, he was the son of the late Travis E. and Juanita Terry Harry. He was an employee of Dublin Furniture Company in Dublin, Va. Travis was a graduate of Oakvale High School and was a former member of the Oakvale Volunteer Fire Department. He was a lifelong resident of Mercer County. In addition to his parents, paternal grandparents, Mack and Addie Harry; and maternal grandparents, John and Lula Terry preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Alice Shorter Harry of Oakvale; one daughter, Renea Runion and husband, Anthony of Oakvale; two grandchildren, Savanah and Trenton Runion; three brothers, Steve Harry and wife, Anita of Broadway, N.C., Jerry Harry and wife, Deanna of Pettrey, and Randall Harry and wife, Summer of Oakvale; four sisters, Linda Fitzwater and husband, Bobby of Oakvale, Carol Spriggs of Gaithersburg, Md., Shirley Neely of Oakvale and Diana Holdren and husband, John of Glen Lyn, Va. In keeping with the wishes of Travis, his body has been cremated and a memorial service in his memory will be conducted 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel in Oakvale with Pastor Glen Wiley officiating. on March 15, 2004.²

     Anita Christina Douglas Anita Harry, age 56, of Sanford, NC, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2019 at her home. She was born on October 30, 1962, to Vivian Smith Douglas and the late William Douglas. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband Steve Harry. Anita worked for many years as Town Clerk for the town of Broadway. She is survived by her mother Vivian Douglas; daughter Amanda Douglas of Sanford; brother Brian Douglas of Sanford and grandson Caden Douglas of Sanford. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 6, 2019, at 2:00 PM at Moore Union Christian Church Cemetery with Rev. Robert Thomas officiating. Friends will be received at the family home following the service.² She was buried at Moore Union Christian Church Cemetery, 4294 Buckhorn Road, Sanford, Lee Co., North Carolina.² Her married name was Harry.¹ She married Steven Harold "Wes" Harry, son of Travis Eugene Harry and Juanita Frankie Terry.^1,2 Anita Christina Douglas was born on October 30, 1962.² She died on September 1, 2019 at Sanford, Lee Co., North Carolina, at age 56.²
