In addition, he owned and operated Vogue Cleaners in New Smyrna Beach. Buddy was a member of the Volusia County Teachers Organization, a life member of the Anglers' Yacht Club, and enjoyed golf, fishing, and boating. Survivors include his wife, Diane; daughter, Shannon L. Daniel of New Smyrna Beach; a son, Robert C. Hester of Oviedo; two sisters, Beverly Haverstock of Louisville, Kentucky, and Gayle Lowry or Ocala; and four grandchildren. The funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 28 at the Settle-Wilder New Smyrna Beach Chapel, with the Reverend Robert C. Brown, Coronado Community United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Edgewater-New Smyrna Cemetery. on January 25, 2010.⁵

Kumley died on April 21, 1986 at Battle Creek, Calhoun Co., Michigan, at age 74.^3,4 He PAW PAW - Paul A. Kumley, 74, of 36154 Valley Drive, Paw Paw, died Monday at Community Hospital, Battle Creek. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the First Christian Church, Paw Paw, of which he was a member. His body has been cremated. Arrangements are by Hawley Funeral Home, Paw Paw. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the church. Mr. Kumley was born Feb. 6, 1912, in Kalamazoo. He was retired from Clawson Manufacturing Co., Kalamazoo, where he was a tool and die maker. Survivors include: his wife, the former Nina Hill, whom he married Oct. 26, 1935; two daughters Mrs. Roy (Donis) Hatcher of Clarkston, Mich, and Mrs. Jean Billings of Waterford, Mich; one son, Paul of Cedar Springs, Iowa; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. on April 23, 1986.⁴
