     Ervin J. E. Lykans was buried at Alton Cemetery, Alton, Franklin Co., Ohio.¹ He died at Columbus, Franklin Co., Ohio.¹ He was born on March 9, 1948 at Colcord, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.¹ He married Joyce A. Wears on November 5, 1988.² Ervin J. E. Lykans Ervin J. E. Lykans, 68, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away after battling a long illness. Joyce, his loving wife of 36 years was with him when he passed. He was born in Colcord, West Virginia on March 9, 1948 to Ervin and Brycie Lykans. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Jean Ann Dugan. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Lykans; sisters, Hilda Dill, Judy (Jack) Merritt, Valery (Tom) Andy and Cathy Lykans; brothers, Billy (Diane) Lykans, Gary Lykans; sons: Ervin Lykans, Ricky Lykans, Donnie Lykans and John Wears; daughters, Shelly DeHart, Kathy Wears, Teresa Wears and Jordyn Lykans. Ervin is also survived by 22 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. He retired from Decker Construction after 15 years of service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in care of Joyce Lykans. Visitation will be Friday, May 6, 2016 from 10 a.m.-12 noon at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH., where the funeral service will begin at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Alton Cemetery. on May 5, 2016.¹

     Diana Lee Herald was born on September 19, 1951.¹ As of April 22, 1978,her married name was Lykans.² She married William L. "Billy" Lykans, son of Ervin Lykans and Brycie Arita Jarrell, on April 22, 1978 at Franklin Co., Ohio.^1,2 Diana Lee Herald died on March 13, 2018 at Ohio at age 66.¹ She Diana Lee (Herald) Lykans, September 19, 1951-March 13, 2018. She is survived by husband, William Lykans; children, Roger and Meleana Burt, Liza and James Wilson, Bobby and Tina Burt, Amber and Gary Grimm, Dawn and Nick Franze; grandchildren, Emily, Ian, Toni, William, JT, Lillie, Joshua, Jeremy, Gage, Cameron, Tessa, Karissa, Gabbi and Hunter; sisters, Donna and Paul Stevens, Deborah and Marvin Spaulding; as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. She will always be remembered and missed eternally. on March 18, 2018.¹

     Lewis Edward Petry was born circa 1884 at Kanawha Co., West Virginia.¹ He married Minnie Hanna on October 12, 1904 at Kanawha Co., West Virginia.³ Lewis Edward Petry married Emma Pearl Christian on June 10, 1916 at Kayford, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.² Lewis Edward Petry died on July 31, 1938 at Kayford, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.¹

     Minnie Hanna was born circa 1888.¹ As of October 12, 1904,her married name was Petry.¹ She married Lewis Edward Petry, son of James Isaac Petry and Lucinda Likens, on October 12, 1904 at Kanawha Co., West Virginia.¹
