SHULER, age 75 of Hollansburg Road, New Paris, Ohio died suddenly Sunday, December 15, 1996 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. Born on April 22, 1921 in Pennington Gap, Virginia, he was the son of Daniel S. & Lillie Mae (Harris) Shuler. He was a W.W. II U.S. Army veteran and moved to New Paris in 1960. Retired in 1983 from Belden Corporation in Richmond after over 30 years of service. Member of First Baptist Church of New Paris. Preceded in death by two Brothers: Frank & James Shuler; Sister: Stella Huff; First Wife: Georgia Shuler in June 1983. Survivors: Wife: Irene Shuler; Two Sons: Rev. Bill Shuler of Miamisburg, Ohio and Randy Shuler of Richmond, Ind; Daughter: Fern Guenther of New Paris, Ohio; Brother: Wilson Shuler of Cedar Creek, Mo. And Sister: Louise Newman of Richmond, Ind; 7 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 1996 - 2:00 P.M. at Barnes Funeral Home (109 West Main Street) New Paris, Ohio with Rev. David J. Fisher officiating.
