He was a 1987 graduate of Big Walnut High School and a work planner for Asplundh Tree Company. Ernie was proud of his family and loved his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting deer, rabbit squirrel, turkey, fishing on Lake Erie, and morel mushroom hunting. He is survived by his wife: Suella (Pettry) Schoenberger and they were married June 26, 1999 in Delaware; daughters: Chasity Schoenberger of Fulton, Becky Schoenberger of Westerville, Katie Schoenberger of KY; step-daughters: Brittany Yant of FL, Jerra Hess of Delaware; step-son: Brennen Yant of Galion; grandchildren: Ryan Schoenberger, Rylie Coburn, Justin Eastep, Zoey Maynard; step grandchildren: Hunter Tittle, Valynn Yant; brother: Joseph (Laureen) Schoenberger of Centerburg; sister: Cheryl Hubbard of Westerville. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, SR 3 at 61, Sunbury where services will be held Thursday 11 a.m. with Frank Kirk officiating.
